We had a fantastic stay at the Leopard Inn, the manager Prathap was ever so friendly, a great guy, always smiling and willing to help. He organized a halfday safari in the National Park Wilpattu and later a boat safari in the lagune and in the mangroves of the Park, it was great. Prathap explained us about the animals and trees on the resort. If you ever in the area, stay at the Leopard Inn !

Wild wadi is the place if your up for a wild get away. Surrounded by the beauty of wildlife and nature wild wadi has alot to offer. At our stay we were able to travel all the way to thambapanni via safari and breakfast in the jungle. Towards the evening kayaking in the lagoons and later endless boat rides over the lagoon followed by delicious seafood bbq for dinner. My family was able to relax and have an awesome time at our stay. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Cannot wait to visit again.

This is quite simply an exceptional hotel, made so not only by our beautiful room and the surroundings, but by Mark and the team of people who made our stay so special. This is one we will always remember for being unique and idylic. Our kayak on the lake with Ravi was fantastic and Ravi's knowledge about the wildlife was exceptional. The whole team were there at 4.30am to ensure we had everything we could possibly ask for before our early morning safari. I can not praise our stay highly enough and we would have loved to have stayed for longer. Thank you Mark and everyone who made our stay so very perfect.

The host was really nice and managed to organise the safari at the last minute. We saw elephants near the river in the night, it was incredible!

Stay was excellent and the staff was very nice from the start of my visit, the room / location was exceptional as its was so close to the Wilpattu national park. During meals we had many options to choose from and the meals were prepared with good quality ingredients as i felt the freshness and difference in the dishes. There was also ample parking available which was great.!!! :) Free Wifi :) :) :)

We stayed only one night at the beginning of the season in Kalpitiya, and we had a great stay here. The chalets are spacious, modern and super clean, the bathrooms were huge as well. The courtyard had also a great vibe with the sand and the palm trees providing some shade. The staff were super friendly and accommodating - we also had breakfast here and coffee, both were great choices.

The receptionist was super lovely and all the staff were kind. Breakfast and food in general is good. And the bar area is perfect. Even some people from other hotels come there to have dinner, so even though it is a calm place it has a lively atmosphere and ocean views. That's important if you are staying few days Working WiFi in the room.

Sandy Edge has garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Kalpitiya, 400 metres from Kudawa Beach. There is a private entrance at the chalet for the convenience of those who stay.

I've visited plenty of hotels in Sri Lanka but here i had the most warm welcome. I stayed in cabana which made in traditional rural style. All nessesary facillities (fan, moscito net, privet bathroom) were there. Host Prasanna is amazing and empathetic person. He always helped us with all our reqests but on the same time he wasn't intrusive. Besides, I’d like to mention good value for money, convenient location (10 minutes to beach by foot and 5 minutes by watersport lagoon by tuk-tuk) and delicious (non spicy!) traditional food.
