Very good location with easy access to all the amenities, breakfast was very nice and delicious we really enjoyed it, it is a family run business, all were very kind and very supportive, service is value for money paid, I would like to recommend this property without any hesitation, we had very nice stay in Hotel Varsha.

The host was great and the breakfast fantastic. The location is really amazing just next to the lake and you can hear and see a lot of birds. It was warm water and the facility is pretty new. Comfortable bad 👍🏻

Accommodation in nature and absolute privacy. The owner and staff do their job 100% to make you feel like you're in a bubble. Big compliments to the chef. The accommodation has only 7 rooms so you are guaranteed privacy. There are monkeys and peacocks in the garden. I recommend it. We go to Sri Lanka often and we will definitely come back here.

Food was good and we requested an early breakfast which was arranged on time. Room was nicely arranged. This is very close to Ritigala archaeological site. Service was excellent. Managed by a family and they make sure to help and support in anyway possible.

Really beautiful setting in the jungle, rooms felt traditional but spacious and luxurious, with windows overlooking the vegetation. Big comfortable bed. We were so well looked after, food was delicious healthy Sri Lankan food, they even made us a pack up for our sunrise hike up sigriya and the evening herbal teas were delicious. Pool practically private as only two other guests there, and you could spot sunbirds from the pool. We took a walk around the lake in the evenings, lots of great bird life and views over paddy fields. This place was our favourite on our visit and felt like a real hidden gem. Dinner $15 with plenty of food and fresh fruit, we didn’t go outside the property to eat but I doubt limited options.

We had a great experience staying at Atha Resort. The service of the personel was above and beyond. The rooms were clean and spacious with lots of natural light. The food was great. The outside areas was well kept. Everything was exceptional.

Without doubt one of the favorite hotels I stayed during my time in Sri Lanka! Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staff and manager The staff was extremely friendly, the restaurant very flexible (appreciate this!) and the restaurant supervisor deserves a special thanks. We had two great evenings here, which obviously also added up to the experience. The second day we did a village trekking which was guided by sanath, who works as a waiter in the hotel as well. Sanath is such a warm personality and highly motivated guide (recommendable!). I truly enjoyed walking through the village. The scenery was beautiful and it was a relieve to walk in such a quiet and peaceful environment. The natural bath on the end was a great way to end the trekking. Note, this is not a 4/5-star hotel or so, but the atmosphere is so special that it really felt like home to me. All respect for the manager Rosh who does a great job here; a true sample of excellent hospitality.

Our 3 days/2 nights in Il Frangipane have been amazing! The facility is a little tropical paradise, well maintained and well designed: perfect for some relaxing days. The room is really big, clean and with modern furniture, as the bathroom. The breakfast is big, a good mix between English and srilankan breakfast. Their best strength is the always kind and helpful staff! They’ll always help you with a big smile! Thank you for those amazing days!

Incredible! This place is a hidden gem in Sigiriya, we wanted to stay longer but it was fully booked. The room had everything you need, very clean and comfortable. The swimming pool is amazing and the view is fantastic. Don’t miss your chance, it’s a rare find.
