This is one of the most beautiful hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The views have to be experienced in person. Lovely staff that goes above and beyond to meet your needs. They arranged a cooking class for us during our stay which was lovely. Will definitely come back in the future.

Easily the best place we have stayed during our time in Sri Lanka . From the moment we arrived , everything was absolutely perfect . The Villa is set in an idyllic location surrounded by incredible scenery and the rooms are incredibly well appointed and spotlessly clean. The Pool area is immaculate and is a setting like no other . The location is also ideal if you’re heading to Pinawala Elephant orphanage as it’s just 5 min away by tuk-tuk. Additionally , the food here is some of yhr best we’ve had, served professionally and with care and every meal was delicious . We already can’t wait to return next year! .

We booked Tea Heritage after seeing how beautiful the property looked online and how reasonably priced it was, and it exceeded our expectations from the very beginning. Communication with the host was excellent even before we arrived. We had a few specific requests, especially around my partner’s dietary needs, and the host was more than happy to accommodate everything. They were flexible, attentive, and genuinely cared about making our stay exactly how we wanted it. The food was a major highlight. We were served delicious home-cooked meals with a great variety of dishes tailored to our preferences, even accommodating last-minute requests without any hesitation. Everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared. The property itself is spacious, private, and incredibly serene. It felt like a true escape into nature, surrounded by misty hills and peaceful views. We love outdoor experiences, and being offered a visit to a nearby organic farm was a wonderful bonus and one of the most memorable parts of our stay. We were also surprised with a candlelit dinner to celebrate our special occasion, which made our engagement even more magical. It was the perfect setting, and we genuinely could not have asked for a better place for such an important moment in our lives. A special mention to Palitha, who took great care of us throughout our stay, and to Dinu, the co-host and chef, who always made sure we were comfortable, well-fed, and well looked after, and not to Forget Thilina, the other co-host who was always available on the phone to coordinate everything. Their hospitality made a big difference. Amazing privacy, stunning views, a beautiful location, and heartfelt service. We absolutely loved our stay and are already looking forward to visiting again.

What an amazing place! Everything was superb. From the incredible staff who anticipated my every need, to the delicious food and the variety of activities in the area. Well I don’t know where to start. I could write a book about this place. We were in love from the minute we checked in, the family made us feel so welcome. Our room was huge lovely quirky little pond in the room with a few fish. The bathroom was really really stunning made out of all recycled rocks and the room was immaculately clean. Little pool to cool down at the end of the day, amazing breakfast. We had a cooking class which was offered by Gayashan and we also had a barbecue with the family which included music. This family quickly became a part of our family. They couldn’t do enough for us. I miss the children they are so lovely, also not forgetting Bruno, kitty and their cockerel. We booked Gayashan for the rest of our tour of Sri Lanka (15 days) and what an amazing guy he is. He’s friendly, he’s funny, he has an amazing sense of humour, he goes above and beyond to make your stay Just perfect. I cannot wait to come back. This is the first time to Sri Lanka and it will certainly not be the last. ❤️❤️❤️ I waited until I was back in the UK to do my review and let’s just say I miss you so much my brother from another mother. The bond between Gayashan and my husband will last a lifetime.
