My recent stay at Gampaha Heritage was truly wonderful, with warm hospitality from the staff who went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed, making me feel genuinely welcome from the moment I arrived. The guesthouse is immaculately clean and well-maintained, with spotless rooms and a fresh, tidy atmosphere that made for a very comfortable and relaxing stay. The peaceful surroundings, combined with the quiet environment, created the perfect place to unwind. The rooftop area was an added delight, offering a lovely space to relax and enjoy the view. Breakfast was excellent, featuring a delicious Sri Lankan-style spread with great quality and variety. The location is ideal for a tranquil escape while still being conveniently close to Gampaha city, making it easy to access shops and restaurants. From here, you can also travel easily by train—whether pre-booked online or with regular tickets—to destinations like Ella, Anuradhapura, Trincomalee, Hikkaduwa, and Mirissa. I highly recommend Gampaha Heritage for anyone looking for a peaceful, comfortable, and enjoyable stay in Gampaha.

The staff is lovely and very accommodating. They were so kind to let me change dates when I made an error in the booking. The rooms are comfortable and have a nice eating area outside. The bed is actually quite large. The food is fantastic - we tried Sri Lankan and western cuisine and they were amazing at both. The pool is well maintained and great to unwind. The location is quite convenient to the highway and only about 10 mins by tuk to Kadawatha town centre.

The host and the care taker were very flexible with check in and check out times and process. Close to Gampaha town centre but not yet in the town centre so has idyllic nature to it. It is an old family home carefully converted to a guest house. Selva the care taker was kind and attentive.
