Amazing experience & grear staff. We loved staying here on our way to the dessert. We loved the sunset and sunrise from the rooftop. Great food.

Just an absolute wow hotel. We had our own private bungalow with garden and pool. The surroundings of the property are the highlight , beautiful green gardens with tall date palm trees . The staff is friendly. We stayed 2 nights and did a small biking trip in the oasis. Visited women run and own carpet cooperative and in the afternoon had time in their hammam. I highly recommend this hotel!

Food was excellent room spacious very clean, staff friendly very helpful, enclosed pretty garden terraced areas also location fabulous surrounded by date palms and rocky mountains I came from merekesh airport that was long journey but unforgettable through the Atlas mountain range magnificent! There is a nearer airport

That village people are friendly and kind .I like that area , it is quiet and peace . Also the host Mohammed is helpful and hard work .He brought us to walk around their village , we had a great chat at Cafe restaurant at night time . Definitely come back .

Kasbah Maktob it one of the best place we staid in Marocco, the house itself it's a jewel that is crafted in the details by his host (and artist) Mustafa. The view on the valley is restoring and the surrounding is stunning .The ancient Kasbah, which the hotel is part of, definitely worth a visit and a walk through. We found the location ideal to visit the Draa valley and Mustafa simply a great host who takes the time to introduce to his culture and makes you feel welcoming (also easy to communicate with in English) Honestly if you have the chance book this place it would add memories and value to your journey!

The house is beautiful and we had a huge space all to ourselves! It is in a quiet old town that is really interesting to walk around. The host was super friendly and generous, we wanted to stay for longer!

Firstly I want to emphasized that if you seek luxury and comfort living experience, never go to desert palm oasis villages, go to big ugly cities. countryside hotel can only provided basic service, it is sustainable but need our tolerance. Chez Yacob Tamnougalt is actually a rose-colored mudbrick fortification kasbah, this Ksar are formidable rising above palm oasis, towers made of meter-thick straw-reinforced mudbrick looks amazing, I am a Chinese explorer, when I hired bikes from Chez Yacob and rode to the remote villages, many local people said that in their whole life time they never see a Chinese cyclist, it made me very happy, so I contributed lots of efforts to raise local poor people's life by paying their food. the purpose of staying in Chez Yacob is convenient to explore the palm oasis and adored the beauty of the nature.
