Blue Moon is beautifully located on top of a ridge overlooking the Indian Ocean. The sunrise in the morning is stunning. The pool and pool area are very nice and the main building has good wifi, a nice seating area and dining room. The breakfast was good with healthy options such as local fruit as well as eggs and bacon. Edgars is a good host who looks after his guests. As the resort was quiet I was given an upgrade to a large house with kitchen which was nicely decorated and comfortable.

Boasting a private beach area and views of garden, Canto das Amêijoas is a recently renovated luxury tent situated in Inhambane, 27 km from Tofinho Monument.

I had the greatest time at Sascha's and Chris' place! I stayed in the private room with shared bathroom for roughly a month. The hostel is squeaky clean, has a beautiful garden with hammocks and seating areas which are also ideal for working remotely while sitting outside. It's only a short way down the stairs to the beach and centre ( which takes a bit longer on the way up 😅). I met so many interesting and fun people and had the best time in Tofo. Every other week there is a barbecue or pizza night on the terrace. I'll be back when the whalesharks are. 😏 Thanks for everything!

We loved everything: Located at the end of the beautiful bay overlooking the Beach & sea, absolutely stunning view. Fantastic breakfast, incredible staff, not only clean but pristine. Fresh flowers in the room everyday, it felt like Honeymoon. The Interieur is amazing, every piece handpicked and gorgeous, then the Perfect Little Pool and the wonderful terrace… The owners are amazing and helped us with every small and big thing. We wanted to stay for 3 nights but ended up staying for 2 weeks. Don’t miss this beautiful place!

Amazing place. It was low season, so there were not too many people staying. I was fine with that. I was there for diving. It is a 20min walk to town, but it's not as bad as many say. And I walked on my own during the day and night and felt safe. In fact, the people there are helpful. The food was good. Thanks to the staff there. Good hospitality. 👍🏼

The property was located a short walk from the beach and had fantastic amenities including pool, Braai area and yoga facilities. Service from staff was attentive and quick and food was fantastic. Josh the manager was incredibly helpful and friendly!

Sunset was a lovely place to stay and Laura was the best host! Unfortunately, we arrived just at the start of a storm so there was no power and everywhere in the town was closed. Laura was very kind and gave us some food and hot tea! Very happy with our stay even during the storm!

The location is the best - right at the beach & you hear the waves falling asleep - breakfast on the veranda overlooking the ocean - Jenn has such a great cafe right next to the entrance - the staff is very friendly & helpful - the local market is 3 min walking distance away - hot showers & good water pressure - basic but great value for money
