The room was large with a great shower and fridge, looking over the garden. We were able to store and charge our bikes in the large garden shed. The house was the Mayors house very, historic, huge and interesting, weddings still take place there. We went to the VVV and were given a personal tour of the museum by a lovely man and lady. Breakfast was excellent smoked salmon and scrambled eggs , smoothie, fresh fruit and yoghurt. Lovely lady who served breakfast too.The historic centre is not huge but beautiful.

“Pimpelmees” was perfect for stay during our visit to Efteling, about 10 minutes away. The accommodation is a beautifully restored and maintained house with its history shared in a charming photo and information folder. The space was very very well equipped and the layout was spacious with two levels. It was easy to find with parking right outside. It was quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was delivered through a hatch, a very good breakfast with a playful presentation. There was also plenty of helpful information provided about other activities in the area. Highly recommended! Our stay genuinely felt like a home away from home.

Wow, this place is really unique. Laurens and Wilma have converted this old wartime fort into a beautiful, spacious accommodation. Clean, well equipped and great facilities, We had a wonderful stay here. Totally secluded and on excellent bike paths. Fabulous breakfasts. Totally recommend staying here.

Everything was perfect! The room was very clean. The bed sheets smelled so nice. We really enjoyed the jacuzzi and the sauna. The girl that welcomed us in the room was so nice and kind. She explained everything that we needed to know with details. She also helped us skip the long highway to Efteling and we got there in like 10 minutes. The area is really quiet at night and you can sleep calm and cozy. We definitely recommend it 🫶🏻

Amazing host and personal touch to the each detail of the property. Everything very clean, great design feeling and cosiness. We enjoyed breakfast with tiny pancaces and fresh buns.
