The hosts have gone to remarkable lengths to preserve its historic charm while seamlessly incorporating modern comforts. It is a rare and beautifully executed blend of history and modern living. The manager was exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and supportive, which made the experience even more memorable. This stay far exceeded our expectations, and we truly enjoyed every moment. If you are in the area, then make sure you stay at Paheke Lodge. It's a wonderful heritage property with loads of character and a beautiful garden. The owners are really helpful and friendly, and provide a fabulous freshly made healthy breakfast. The stewed plums, picked from the garden, are just amazing. You won't regret staying here.
