Cabin was quiet and very clean with great WiFi. Laundry service was offered which we used. Amazing breakfast every morning with lots of options. Safe area and yard was completely gated and had a pool. Owners were kind and very accommodating. Husband was ill and she even brought over medicine for him.

Staff were great, and really were vested in making sure you had everything needed. Room was bright and cozy. David is not a place for tourists really, but we were forced to stay due to road closures and unrest.

Location was lovely and surprisingly peaceful as it is conveniently situated near major roads, neighborhoods and services. Grounds are beautiful! Owner/host lives on property and makes you feel right at home--he converses in multiple languages and prepares wonderful omlettes and french toast for breakfast! His small staff is friendly and helps keep this well run place sparkling clean. Hummingbirds abound! Dogs are friendly and entertaining pets! Room is adorable with the best shower in Panama!

The value for the dinners was excellent. I ordered something different every night and each meal was excellent. There was a problem with the elevator going to the main lobby and the staff made sure that I was able to reach the main lobby with no issues. The staff only found solutions to problems.

If you’re looking for genuine sense of adventure, hidden local gems and to meet the people of the region, Mike’s adventures is the place. Roger arranged some amazing trips at fair prices and he works with the community for a real authentic experience. He has the best contacts and is your guy for anything and everything in the Chiriqui region! Also thank you for the incredible locally sourced coffee and chocolate and family dinner ;) we feel so lucky to have stumbled across this gem of a place. Roger and Mike really care about their community and giving back to the people. DONT SKIP DAVID!!!! There is so much to see and do from the city we wish we stayed longer. We saw migrating whales, untouched islands, natural rock formations, fresh water swimming and was lucky enough to be involved in a local and responsible baby turtle release - all in just 2 days!! The city felt safe and the people were welcoming. Such a shame to miss it!
