The apartment is perfect, clean, and new, it has good air conditioning and plenty of car park. The owner is very nice and I would just say it's a 5 stars just for this but what has something of incredible is the little village in which is situated. It is marvelous, I found myself in the middle of a true bull race, their summer fests last a week, and it is just astonishing, here time stopped and you can experience something priceless. I will be back for sure.

It was a wonderful visit to Casas de Faia. The location and setting and the quality of the accommodation is amazing. Duarte and his family were incredibly kind and wonderful hosts. There is a beautiful pool to cool off in the heat and you are surrounded by wildlife on the farm and greeted by two lovely dogs. Breakfast was lovely and a really well arranged. A superb stay. Everything in this modern little apartment has been well thought out. It is cozy like its name, yet totally comfortable and functional with everything you need, and city views. There is a cooktop, oven, and microwave in the kitchen, plus toaster, kettle and coffee pod machine. A dining table, stools and two soft chairs complete it. The bedroom has plenty of cupboard space, a comfortable double bed and an armchair. The bathroom is fully tiled and has great water pressure. It's walking distance to all of Elvas - tourist sites, shops, bars and cafes, plus all of the narrow windy old town streets. The owner is friendly, polite and helpful, in contact if you need anything.

Vila Galé is a very nice hotel located in a historical palace in the city centre of Elvas, just inside the city walls. It has a great location close to all attractions, monuments, bars and restaurants. The room we stayed was spacious and had all necessary comfort. Very good buffet breakfast.
