The owner was very helpful and friendly, and it was convenient that they could speak English, making communication much easier. The room and facilities were comfortable, and breakfast was even included. Overall, though, it was a pleasant stay—peaceful and relaxing, with stunning views and a chance to get close to nature, away from the bustle of the city center. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for an affordable and chill place to stay.

EVERYTHING!!! Mama Tom Tom doesn't just offer her house and food, she offers a glimpse into the tradition and culture of the villages in the Sapa Valley. Mama Tom Tom is an incredibly kind and hardworking lady who speaks great English!! She took us on a 2-day trek with 1 night stay in her home. The treks had the most beautiful views, to which Tom Tom added her insights and answered all our curious questions! Her home is humble (built by her husband!!!), clean and traditional with all the basics that you require. NOT TO FORGET the most gorgeous view just outside!! She offers breakfast and dinner in the package, and lunch on the treks! I cannot emphasize the value for money enough!! If you are looking to support a local Hmong woman and learn about their culture, look no further!! O' Chau Mama Tom Tom ❤️

I really enjoyed staying at this homestay. The self check-in instructions were clear, and the location is quiet with a beautiful view of Fansipan Mountain right from the entrance. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. From 6–10pm, the bar outside opens, which is a great chance to chat with the friendly owners. They shared lots of helpful travel tips, and also offered convenient services like laundry and motorbike rental. Don’t miss the homemade plum wine at the bar — it’s delicious, and if you can, buy a bottle to take with you!

It was needed after spending nearly a week in the city and the host and her family were incredible. I was in love with their cat and dogs. Their cooking was absolutely delicious and they were so accommodating. Some of the friendliest and most welcoming people I met in Vietnam! I do plan on coming back!

Amazing village stay, the whole area is beautiful and close to nature surrounded by rice fields and locals living in the area. Very safe and there are no other tourists in the same village. Living with the red dao people and learning about their culture. The family speaks very good English and eat their food and life style is still kept the same way. They have the traditional house and got some dogs and chickens. They took us on trekking different areas and they adjust everything to your level.
