The cottage is beautiful, clean, comfortable and well equipped. The braai and pool area are great and the whole ambience of the place is relaxing. We stayed in one of the suites, and loved everything about this hotel. The staff were wonderful, the food was very good, the room was large and well-appointed, and we were right next to the park. We travel a lot, and this is one of our favorite hotels of all time. Greatly enjoyed it.

Everything is just perfect. It was the second time we stayed at La Lechere, and it was beyond what we remembered from our last stay. The whole team who works there are absolutely fabulous and keep it mind every detail. The room was perfectly clean and refreshed daily at the perfect time, our breakfast was fantastic, both types of them while having it by the garden / pool area, or the take away type which is meticulously prepared in a lovely cooler box to take with us while we were early morning for a game drive around kruger Park. The location of La Lechere is about 6 minutes drive from kruger. The Garden is beautiful and makes you feel like you are in an oasis, far away from any disturbances. We also used their pool, perfect to chill, and the laundry service which was fast and super efficient. We will definitely go back with some more family to share with them such a Eden of tranquility.

Dave from the Sunbird Lodge simoly is sn exceptional host! He organized a restaurant for us, stayed around for longer thsn normally when our flights didn't work out, packef us breakfast to take into Kruger and besides all that was just super friendly and fun. If yoz look for a place around Phalaborwa gate - take this one!
