This is a great place to stop before exploring Huangshan Mountain. The staff are so helpful as to pick you up from Tangkou bus station, look after your luggage if you're staying overnight on the mountain, give you recommendations and much more. The hotel is within walking distance of the entrance to the mountain park. The rooms are clean, cosy and well-equipped. Mimi the adorable cat is always prowling around looking for pets!

This is a lovely family run villa in a beautiful location where you can wander around nice streets and nearby river path. The mother is the main fantastic cook - great breakfasts (nice congee or eggs, toast etc) with good coffee and they offer dinner meals which are delicious (and good price) and just added to your final bill (as is the 1 hour shuttle buses to and from Huangshan airport). Room was very beautiful, comfortable and quiet. The father can take people to and from some local sights - including the main bus station nearby which takes tourists up to the start of the Huangshan mountain trek. I had a rest day at the villa after this trek! Its a good place to stay for a few days if you want a quiet break from the big cities. A safe and comfortable place to stay for a woman, solo traveller. Thank you lovely family!!

Swimming pool and gym were fantasic. Room was made out of heaven. Breakfast was one of the best I have ever seen - they even had cheese from my country! (Greece). And the best of all - the price of stay was beyond amazing.

Our stay at this guesthouse was absolutely perfect and exceeded all our expectations. Our host was simply wonderful and went above and beyond to make our trip to Huangshan memorable. She cooked us delicious and hearty breakfasts every morning, provided us with rides to the mountain entrance, and even drove us to local restaurants for dinner. Her recommendations for the best local places to eat and buy authentic Huangshan tea were invaluable. The accommodation itself was fantastic. We had a very comfortable, large bed and a stunning panoramic view of the mountains from our window. A real highlight was the private jacuzzi in the room – perfect for relaxing after a day of hiking. The guesthouse also has a lovely, friendly cat that was a delight to come home to. The location is peaceful and about a 20-minute walk from the city center, where you can find numerous restaurants and shops. We would recommend this place 10/10 without any hesitation. The only very minor downside was that the room was a little chilly at times, but it was a small price to pay for such an otherwise flawless experience. We can't wait to return!
