Located in Schneizlreuth, Pension Almhof Baumgarten provides all around mountain view. It is conveniently near hiking areas, cycling paths and lakes, 10 km from the Bad Reichenhall exit of the A8 motorway, and 17 km from Salzburg. Joseph, the owner and host is the warmest person you will meet. Made us feel at home instantly and definitely made our holiday memories fond and memorable due to his generous gestures and accommodative nature. I will book again for sure.

Situated in Oberaudorf, 44 km from Golfclub Kitzbühel Schwarzsee, Hotel Keindl features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. 47 km from Casino Kitzbuhel and 7.3 km from Erl Festival Theatre, the property provides a ski pass sales point and ski storage space. The hotel has a spa centre, room service and free WiFi throughout the property. Hotel Keindl meets all of my criteria: 1) Family run, 2) CLEAN, 3) Restaurant, 4) Bier Garden, 5) In-House Butcher Shop. I was very pleased on all counts, plus my room was large and very quiet. The included Breakfast has an excellent selection including some of their own meats ! Breakfast room is large and bright with plenty of room for moving around the breakfast offerings. There was a person on duty checking me in to the breakfast and directing me where to sit. Very helpful too. Dinner was very good. The servers were attentive and orders were correct. There is a Brass Band Headquarters/Clubhouse directly across the street from the Bier Garten, very convenient and they played from around 6pm till 9pm. A very nice plus ! Laundry service was excellent and a 1 day turn-around, plus very reasonably priced. Parking was available on-site and close to an access walkway you have access to with your room passkey. Staff speak English, and were very pleasant and helpful. They keep some very good candies in the tray/dish on the Reception counter.

The Austrian border can be reached by car in 10 minutes, and Hotel AlpinaRos provides free private parking. The front desk is only open until 8 PM; afterward, you need to enter and exit through the back door. Encountered three different staff members at different times, one of whom has a lower proficiency in English, but overall, they are all very enthusiastic. The location is also very close to lively areas. The breakfast content and quality are excellent, worth coming back for.

I like Bad Reichenhall, It is a very cozy and picturesque place. Even if there weren't so many tourists oriented points around, I'd be getting pleasure just walking through this town. I like the Avalon hotel: its kind stuff, its cozy cafe on the ground floor, its warm atmosphere, and many, many other small things that leave a very pleasant impression. I'd especially express my thanks for disconnecting the rain detector from the marquis management system. This year, I had a chance to have a cigarette looking at the beautiful mountain view sitting on the balcony while it was raining..
