It was very modern and comfortable, the apartment was spacious, the bed was cozy, the shower worked perfectly well. It's very close to the station, and checking in and out was very easy. I particularly liked the recommendations the hosts left for entertainment and food options. It was an overall great stay!

This a lovely apartment. Very well appointed and clean. Great shower. The hosts were lovely. Had a bit of trouble as the video sent showing where parking and apartment was didn't work. Phoned the Hosts, who patiently talked me through how to find it all over video call.

Boasting free bikes and views of garden, La Maison Pelloquin is a bed and breakfast set in a historic building in Bernières-sur-Mer, 1.6 km from East Beach. Private parking is available on site at this recently renovated property. Outdoor furniture is available for guests to relax or dine outside. We had a huge, beautiful bedroom and bathroom overlooking the garden in this stunning chateau. Rodolphe and Maxence were wonderful hosts and a highlight of the stay was the breakfast each morning around the large table in a tastefully furnished room. Adjoining this room was a lounge for guests, with books and guides for the area, tea and coffee facilities and treats! Bernières-sur-Mer is a lovely village and close to many sites of interest. It is especially well-located for visiting the D-day landing beaches and associated museums and memorials in the area - the memorial museum in Caen was a particular highlight. It was also very easy to reach Bayeux, which was beautiful. There are bikes available at La Maison and we spent one day visiting some of the beaches along the cycle path, which was very special.
