It’s a great property. It’s a historic pub, but modernized. Our bedroom included a full soaking tub and a beautiful view of the Yorkshire countryside. The food was fantastic. The staff was fantastic. We stayed there on a Thursday night and they were having trivia night. The place was packed with people having a good time. It was decorated for the Christmas holiday holidays. It was warm and joyous and a fabulous part of our journey. It’s a short drive to Chatsworth house and a great place to stay if you decide to do Chatsworth Christmas.

The Old Manse Guesthouse ligger i Buxton, 8 minutters gang fra Buxton Opera House, og har gratis wi-fi samt gratis privat parkering. Overnatningsstedet ligger ca. Samantha & Stephanie were wonderful host. Stephanie checked me in and I appreciate her help with booking an extra night with Old Manse. Samantha cooked a really good breakfast each morning. I really enjoyed the fresh fruit (blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, kiwi & apple) & plain yogurt. She also cooked great poached eggs & cereal was appreciated. One morning I had salmon & eggs and it was yummy. I failed to mention she had nuts & dried fruit to put on the yogurt…..lots of good choices. My room & bathroom were a good size and the bed very comfortable. I enjoyed my walks from the B&B to the town centre (exploring) & taking the bus to Bakewell and Haddon Hall were fun for a day. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!

Oakenclough Hall ligger i Macclesfield, 16 km fra Buxton Opera House, og har en have, gratis wi-fi, gratis shuttletransport og roomservice. Absolutely gorgeous place. Really beautiful building with lots of character. The view is spectacular. Very comfy bed. Hosts aee so welcoming & Dawn is so nice. Felt at ease instantly. Breakfast was amazing. Would definitely return.

Five Gables ligger i Sheffield og kun 10 km fra FlyDSA Arena. Her er udsigt til en have, gratis wi-fi og gratisprivat parkering. The apartment was even bigger than it looked on the photos. Couches and bed were really comfy. Netflix is a real plus. We had a great time staying here.

The Bridge House Restaurant and Hotel ligger i Alton, 1,8 km fra Alton Towers, og har en have, en restaurant og en bar samt gratis privat parkering. Everything was on point. Really nice service.

The Jodrell Luxury Suites ligger i Whaley Bridge, 12 km fra Buxton Opera House og 23 km fra Capesthorne Hall. Der er gratis wi-fioveralt. As soon as we opened the door to our apartment we entered a cosy, inviting place which exceeded our expectations, it smelt so clean and fresh and is beautifully decorated with all the home comforts you’d expect. Had a problem with the key code on arrival but somebody came round within 5 minutes to sort it out. Great location for local attractions such as Buxton and Chatsworth House, Whaley Bridge is a busy village with all the conveniences you need. The apartments are right next to the train station but didn’t bother us, it added to the charm of the place (you can get the train to Buxton or Manchester)
