Nice neighbourhood with small convenience shops only 2-3 mins walk away, a friendly reggae bar/restaurant named Bao-Bar 7 mins walk away and various other places to eat 10-15 mins away. Kaddy and John are super friendly hosts and very welcoming. Gave lots of advice and tips on where to eat and how to stay safe etc etc. If I go back to Gambia I would 100% be happy to stay here again. This was a very cozy ground floor apartment with private pool as well as access to the community pool which is steps away. The beach is also steps away and you can sit on the patio and see the ocean view. The atmosphere was welcoming and this location is within walking distance of Senegambia Restaurants and clubs. There is also a Restaurant next door. I just love that the apartment was CLEAN, with nice functional modern furniture. The host was very friendly, accomodating, and responsive to my questions. I would recommend this place especially if you want to feel comfortable away from home.
