And each morning, sitting outside my room to watch the birds was the perfect start. Followed by a delicious breakfast and off into town or to the beach. Do yourself a favor and eat your way through all their dinner options. Because, again, this food is as good as five-star restaurants but served in a quiet, serene setting. I only stayed one week, but I will be back soon. If you haven't booked your trip to The Gambia and your stay at this lodge, do it right now. I have stayed all over the world and this has been one of the top experiences in lodging ever. The hosts will go beyond to make sure you enjoy your stay. Greg is a coffee-connoisseur providing us with ample, real coffee! We cannot wait to return, & will stay for much longer next time.
