I really enjoyed staying at Electra Suites on my recent trip to Samothraki! I only got to stay for two nights but will definitely go back next time I visit the island. Stelios is a generous host and went above and beyond to make sure I had a good trip– in fact, on my first day, he actually drove me around the island himself so that I could visit the Sanctuary of the Great Gods and Chora! Even with the language barrier, we had a pleasant time conversing via Google Translate. The other staff at the hotel were friendly and made me feel at home. Overall, a lovely group of people to spend a long weekend with. I value peace & quiet when I travel, and so I appreciated staying somewhere without street traffic or restaurant sounds that was still close to the amenities. Stelios recommended a taverna with good food about a five minute walk from the restaurant, and I went back there several times. The name was Sta Kala Kathoumena and the walk takes you through the church's courtyard. If you can, I do recommend renting a car or a motorbike to get around the island– I came during the off-season and didn't realize how limited the public transit options were. I appreciated Stelios taking the time to drive me around, but I also knew he was busy running the hotel! The taxi stand on the waterfront is an easy walk- bring cash. I also spotted a scooter rental on the main drag. I have trouble sleeping, and felt very safe walking around Kamariotissa at night while trying to settle my thoughts. Stay aware of your surroundings and carry a flashlight for visibility, as there are few sidewalks in the side streets and you'll want to quickly get out of the way when people are driving through. Wherever you are in the village, you'll be able to see Mt. Saos or the sea. Rooms: The rooms were very clean, comfortable and modern. Akrotiri studios ligger mindre end 1 km fra Samothraki Havn og tilbyder en have og aircondition samt indkvartering med balkon og gratis wi-fi. Everything was great. Very responsive hosts welcomed us and made our stay truly unique. Well-equipped kitchen area with everything you need. Clean and pleasant place with a very good location. Easy to reach communicative places without the need for transportation. Highly recommended.

Hotel is located in a quiet place by the sea, a little outside the city. Our room was clean and sheets and towels were changed daily. The owner of the hotel, Mr. Yorgo, took great care during our entire holiday. There is a fish restaurant, one of the best on the island, on the ground floor. Otel has its own beach on the coast. It's stony throughout the island. I recommend you to bring sea shoes.

"the cottage" is a funky name for a full functional space with everything you need. whenever we called for anything they responded on the spot and offered their help in any matter even at late hours well beyond common sence. the PLACE is perfect for a family of four, or two couples and i am prety sure that if you talk to Kiki (our so kind host) she will be more than happy to acomodate few others in the olive garden and let them put up a tentbor two. there is so much space with plenty of flowers for a nice view in the morning and plenty of shade for relaxation and reading time in a hammok. 3 minute walk to the beach. 25 min walk to the nearest taverna ARGO (ΑΡΓΟ) (very lovely family). 15 min by car to SubSaos diivng center. the olive tree garden, the pale white and deep pink leanders, the quite night, the people, the island itself, the spectacular view of mount Saos who takes up his green and rocky slopes right from the cottage back yard... we were'nt even bothered by the constant cricketing "music" of the cicadas.

Villa Thanos ligger ca. 4,3 km fra Folklore Museum of Samothraki og har en terrasse, balkon og havudsigt. Everything was excellent. Very quiet, comfortable and clean. Nobody disturbed us. The house is equipped with everything you need.
