The host is AMAZING. He is beyond friendly and helpful. He connected us with his cousin who gave us a great rate for the drive from Guatemala City straight to the property. There’s amazing street vendors for food literally every street you walk down, it’s right by the Mirador, a 5 minute walk to all the best parts of the city and 10 minutes walking to the lake. The view from the roof is beautiful. The property itself was really clean and spacious, and the beds were super comfy. I honestly can’t say enough. We loved our stay here.

Gerson and his wife are so kind and their son Abu is adorable, he even taught me some Spanish. The location is fabulous and so quiet and the rooms are so comfortable. The views are breathtaking and the showers/toilets are always spotless. You can rent water bikes from the family and Gerson is always there to give advice or call you a tuktuk. There’s even an eco sauna! It was the best part of our 2 week stay in Guatemala, we can’t wait to come back!

Lovely place in a really good location, Juan was a great host and I thought it was really good value. Quiet, comfortable and the garden is lovely. Definitely recommend 😊.

Chirris is a really good vibe. We stayed in the private room and it was clean and comfortable. The manager/owner Andrea was lovely and really interesting to talk to and the communal area was chilled and peaceful. It was right in the centre of town so everything was within walking distance. The kitchen had good equipment and there was free filter coffee and tea. The staff seemed happy there.

Atitlan Sunset Lodge Apartments are located on the shores of Lake Atitlan in Santa Cruz La Laguna and boast excellent volcano views. Free Wi-Fi and kayak use are provided at this property. Beautiful views, and a very calm and relaxed place to enjoy Lake Atitlan from. Easy to catch public boats to explore the rest of the lake during the day, but also a very comfortable place to sit sunbathing or Strom watching. The apartment was spacious and clean, and the staff were very helpful staff. The on site vegan restaurant was also very nice.
