Excaptionally clean and beautiful rooms. The breakfast buffet has a large variety of international as well as local specialisties. The quality was also of a very high standard. As I have been numerous times to Makassar and also know the other Hotels which play in the same league (e.g. the 4 Star Hotels located at the seafront),. the Hyatt offers a way better, more luxurious experience for the same price. In my opinion it is by a large margin the currently best choice for a stay in Makassar.

Clean room, good location. Yanpi were amazingly friendly and helping us to come and go with transportation.

Toraja Sanggalangi Homestay ligger i Rantepao og har en have, en terrasse og gratis wi-fi. Starting from the communication prior to arrival, all the way throughout the whole trip the hosts were amazing. The level of hospitality and care far exceeded my expectations. I was driven to the pharmacy to get medication when I was ill, I needed to rest in my room, so the hostess offered me lunch and checked in on me and when the car broke down on the way to a hike they were so apologetic and mortified about disappointing us, rather than thinking of their primary method of translation being broken that it completely melted our hearts. They of course immediately organised alternative transport. Genuine humanity and real Indonesian hospitality at its best. The facilities were lovely. The room was very spacious, ensuite bathroom, hot shower at a very reasonable price The internet even worked in my room, as I was downstairs next to the common area which it primarily covers. The food was also amazing quality, healthy and home cooked. The host, Peso, is a certified guide, clearly well known in the community, which made finding and attending funeral ceremonies comfortable without feeling like an intruder. The 3 day programme he offered covered all points of interest in the area, he also offered in depth and nuanced explanations on the local culture and took me to some places where tourists don't usually go. The scooter he used to take me around was large, new and comfortable, too. Highly recommended!

A very comfortable place to stay in Tana Toraja. Owner and staff are very helpful and engaging. Location is in quiet area of town with spacious modern room and sweeping balcony view on the 2nd floor, which has the best rooms. Good Torajan drip coffee in room. Breakfast is good with freshly made eggs, some Indonesian varieties, and good choice of fruits Restaurant menu is fairly limited but the cafe across from hotel makes excellent grilled fish There are plenty of guide service available at hotel at reasonable prices. An excellent choice for a good value hotel option.

Rimba eco Resort ligger indenfor 23 km fra Manado-havnen og har restaurant, en have, en terrasse og en bar. Både wi-fi og privat parkering tilbydes gratis hos lodgen. We had a great 2 nights stay at Rimba Eco Resort exploring the surrounding Tomohon area and the volcanic sights! The owners Arno & Angie have done a great job with the place and it's very "homey" and welcoming with friendly staff and cute cats & dogs. We had a fun night out at a local bar with Arno and some other guests and we also spent a day out exploring the sights of which Arno gave us some great recommendations!

Talaga Tomohon Home Stay and Fishing Pond ligger i Tomohon, 26 km fra Manado-havnen, og har en have, gratis wi-fi, et fælles køkken og roomservice. By far the best homestay I stayed in in Sulawesi. Rooms are big and spacious and the host can arrange anything and guide you for a small price. The breakfast is very local and good too. I highly recommend.

Absolutely stay here, it was a highlight of our trip! We stayed for almost a week and had such a nice time. The room is comfortable, breakfast is wonderful, the shared bathroom is no problem as only shared with one other room. We rented a moto and had fun seeing the places recommended. Shower was hot. But the star is your host - extremely helpful and caring. He even got my partner a birthday cake for his birthday, and picked us up from the bus station! He is a guide and loves to share his knowledge

Super clean, good smell. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. I got a sunburn and without asking they just gave me some aloe vera. Rhe dolphin tour is also amazing !!!! Highly recommended

Ne Pakku Manja Family Home har udsigt til en have, gratis wi-fi og gratis privat parkering og ligger i Rantepao. Gæsterne kan slappe af i overnatningsstedets have. Staying in a traditional Tongkonan was such a unique experience with a fantastic view. The inside is made with so much love and good taste. Eventhough the room itself was simple it was always clean and the bathroom was lovely. From the moment we stepped inside Meyskes home we felt like it was our home as well. Meyske introduced us to her culture like we have never experienced during our travels. 100% recommended if you plan to visit Tana Toraja. If you need anything you can always ask her or her super nice mom they were always there to help, whether it was the most delicious food, hot water to shower or a tee because my husband was sick. The tour with Meyske was our highlight of Tana Toraja, she makes sure you fit in as a tourist so you can enjoy the culture as much as possible. Thank you Meyske, come visit us in Germany :)
