We were treated as family and were guided so wonderfully to all the sacred and divine places in and around Ujjain. The sattvic food provided to us was of excellent quality. There are 2 ancient temples in the premises which makes the place extremely serene, tranquil and peaceful. The location of the guest house is the prime highlight of the property as all the main temples are easily accessible. The auto services provided were exceptional. They guided us to complete our darshan yatra effectively.

What I’ve found, is that when you visit India, the two main things you need is a place to stay that has adequate amenities and an owner that you can communicate with and who can help you. In Sunrise Bed & Brekfast we found both and in the highest degree. The room we stayed in was well maintained, with clean sheets and a modern bathroom and toilet. The building has a beautiful garden where you can relax and a terrace where you can watch the sunset and the surrounding area. It’s away from the roads and the village centre, so it’s peaceful and quiet, far from all the honking. It’s in walking distance from the village centre and the main group of temples that you will want to visit, i.e. the western group of temples. For the rest that Khajuraho has to offer, eg. the Panna National Tiger Reserve, the Raneh waterfalls and the rest of he temples (Eastern and South groups), you will have the great help and guidance of the amazing owner Veda. Veda was eager to help us with everything we needed, he understood our needs, explained everything and even suggested a program with us that we followed and worked out perfectly. He found tickets for us for the tiger reserve, although they were sold out! Because you will need a transportation vehicle for most of the sightseeing areas around Khajuraho, Veda also arranged for us cheap transportation with an auto rickshaw 🛺, which would otherwise cost us a fortune. We were lucky enough to have as a driver the wonderful Samim, who was always there to explain to use and give information about the various places we visited. He was always smiling despite the long drives. Regarding the food, the breakfast was very tasty and filling, they were offering us free tea and bottles of water or filtered water anytime and they also prepare dinner very cheaply which is also amazing and among the best Thali we had in India! I can’t imagine a more pleasant stay in Khajuraho and for sure I will stay in this place again and again every time I visit.

The Highvill Home Stay ligt op 15 minuten lopen van Lakshmana Temple en biedt een tuin en een terras. De accommodaties hebben een balkon en gratis WiFi. The room was so clean. The staffs were really good and friendly. I have visited many places. But here is the first time I am visiting a room which is having facilities more than their price. I really loved it.

Prachtige hotel, in een mooi oud gebouw. Bovenop het hotel een fijn dakterras, heel mooi uitzicht over de hele stad. In het hotel kan je eten, erg handig.
