Hotel Halond ligger i Akureyri, 39 km fra Goðafoss, og har en have, en terrasse og gratis privat parkering. Everything was so much better than expected! We had some issues with getting into the room, reservation etc, and everything was solved so smooth, they answered instantly. The room had fantastic facilities, even en-suite fridge, great bathroom, nice terrace. SUPER quiet. Hottubs were a big plus! Also, the common kitchen... just overall 10/10.

The location was great and very easy easy to find. Very central in Akureyri and just a 5 minute drive from the airport. There was ample parking and guest laundry facilities were free and available on site. The bed was so comfortable and the space was great. A large bathroom with walk in shower, great WiFi and smart TV, fully equipped kitchen with hob, oven, microwave, fridge and freezer and all the pots and pans you need to cook as you might do at home. Communication was easy and any questions were quickly answered by Margrét. All in all there was nothing to fault about the stay and I would certainly make it my first choice to go back to.

Bakkakot 3 Cozy Cabin In The Woods ligger i Akureyri, 24 km fra Hof - Cultural Center and Conference Hall. Her er adgang til et boblebad. The bungalow was very comfortable and cosy, located in the woods. Fairytale and very romantic place. There is a queen size bed, video option with movies, table and small kitchen inside. The bathroom was enough big. We will recommend for dinner the Eyri restaurant on the lake, only 10 minutes away from the property. It´s a gourmet one (higher price level) but all very tasty with an excellend wine choice. Near Akureyri we will highly recommend also to visit the Forest Lagoon (thermal baths).

Communication with the owner was excellent, the place has a beautiful view, and the atmosphere is wonderful. I highly recommend it!"

Huge windows in the living with beautiful view of the mountains. We had a choice of different music CD-s, it was wonderful to listen to the music. Comfortable beds! Great bathroom!

Bakkakot 2 - Cozy Cabins in the Woods ligger ca. 24 km fra Hof - Cultural Center and Conference Hall og har en terrasse, balkon og bjergudsigt. Egen hytte og bad fint. Opvarmning fin, men jeg ville nødig bo der, når det bliver koldt. Varmtvands udrndør bad mv, vi prøvede det ikke. Lå langt fra byen, helt øde, der var dog en ok restaurant i nærheden..
