The breakfast in unreal and the selection of fresh, quality food is unlike any hotel breakfast I've ever had. The view surrounding the hotel is really beautiful and parking is plentiful. The hotel provides robes and slippers for the hot tub and the view of the glacier and mountains is perfect while you soak. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout the stay and room service is lightening fast!

Höfn Hostel offer some rooms with shared bathroom and some with private bathrooms. Some rooms are accessible. I was very pleasantly surprised by the hostel! You take off your shoes as you enter, which gives a very homely feeling. The room was bigger than I expected, there were 3 very clean modern bathrooms in the same corridor and even thought the kitchen was right behind the corner it didnt bother us with sounds. Washing machine option was great and even though we didnt have warm water the first night the whole stay was very nice. We did cook and the hotel was busy but the shared kitchen was well supplied and had three stoves so there wasnt a need to wait. Complimentary coffee was lovely as well. I surprisingly didnt mind at all how busy it was. The lady at reception was also very nice and showed us how to operate the washing machine.

We arrived late at night, the check-in was super easy - just entering the cabin ;-). We only spent a night in the cabin, early in the morning we continued with our road trip. The cabin and surroundings are just super beautiful. Wish we stayed there longer.

Beautiful wooden 2 bedroom cottage having every possible thing one might need. Can easily spend 2 days to enjoy it fully. Worth every price and highly recommend it to anyone looking for quiet time in Iceland.
