Hotel Marina ligt op een steenworp afstand van het strand en biedt accommodatie in Monterosso al Mare, in nationaal park Cinque Terre. The staff was very kind and even greeted us around town, the room was very well kept and clean and most importantly very homey. We felt right at home! The breakfast was also excellent, with a small buffet of cakes and desserts and a menu of various dishes, both savory and sweet, all very well-made and in generous amounts. Breakfast was also served in a truly wonderful terrace full of lemon trees which made the experience even more beautiful. The free beach was also a 5-minute walk away and we could always find a space for two towels in the afternoon, which meant that when coming back from exploring the other places we could always put on our swimming suits and go snorkeling (very recommended since the water is crystal clear and full of small fish). We could also borrow their beach towels which was very useful. The way from the train station was a bit uphill (although the whole town is full of ups and downs) but overall pretty quick and full of restaurants and souvenir shops which can come in very handy. We definitely recommend the affiliated restaurant "Da Eraldo" for some good quality fish and seafood and "L'Osteria" for some good local food; the staff of both of these was also very friendly and very willing to make some small talk. We also recommend the trekking trail "Sentiero Azzurro" but be aware that there are some pretty long uphill stairways so start early in the morning if you're planning to go there in summer. Overall our stay was wonderful and there were no complications, truly a wonderful place to spend a couple of days!

Great place , can’t believe it’s only 3* It’s one of those hotels high up and overlooking everything that makes you wonder what it’s like to stay there , and I can tell you it was great ! Free shuttle bus to deal with the hill down to town and back up ! I’d read somewhere that breakfast was only a croissant/cake affair , well it’s not , it’s a comprehensive hot and cold buffet that is most enjoyable .

A room was modern and clean, they had a very cute balcony were you can sit in the evening and enjoy a glass of wine. There was a safe where you can leave your precious belongings. Very central, and comfortable to reach all the destinations, not far from train station, bus to Portovenere or Lerici around the corner.

Affittacamere Saint Bon 15 - 5 Terre Rooms and Suites bevindt zich op 9 minuten lopen van Castello San Giorgio en 29 km van Carrarafiere, en heeft kamers met airconditioning en een eigen badkamer in... The host was excellent and very helpful which was greatly appreciated after an atrocious experience at a nearby affittacamere. Everything was very easy and we managed to book and enter within the space of 30 minutes; which was a lifesaver when trucking around bags with an easily bored four year old. The room was much larger than I was expecting, and my daughter was ecstatic to get her first experience of a bunk bed when we discovered there was this option (she could have slept on the normal bed provided... but it's a bunk bed!). I would 100% recommend this place to friends and family.
