Hilton Hiroshima har en god beliggenhed i Hiroshima. Dette overnatningssted med 4 stjerner er tæt på Myoei-ji Temple og Hiroshima City Minami Ward Community Cultural Center. Vi bestilte en suite til 3600kr, vi var 2 voksne og 2 børn. Det var en fantastisk udsigt ud over Hiroshima og øerne i fjorden. Lounge og morgenmad super lækkert. Lydløs aircondition og gode senge. Badekar med panoramavinduer var så fint. Indendørs swimmingpool var lidt rigeligt fyldt og man skulle have badehætte på, men luksus at have det i Japan.

Onyado Nono Matsue Natural Hot Spring ligger i Matsue, 1,7 km fra Lafcadio Hearn Memorial Museum. Dette overnatningssted med 4 stjerner har et spa- og wellnesscenter. - amazing rooftop onsen (from the women’s bath little window you can see the castle!) - with free ice cream afterwards - big rooms, with comfortable beds and cute decorations to give a traditional feeling (even the ceiling had 2 different types of wood paneling. Mine had a view of the canal. Higher ones could have a castle or lake view. - amazing breakfast buffet, with a lot of local specialties (Izumo soba, zenzai…) - within walking distance of the castle and historical houses.

UNO HOTEL ligger i Tamano, 21 km fra Hashihime Inari Daimyojin Shrine, og har en have, et fælles opholdsområde og en terrasse samt gratis privat parkering. Perfekt beliggenhed med henblik på at nå kunstøerne. Pænt, moderne interiør design. Venligt personale, der rådgav omkring færgetider. Gratis maskinvask- og tørretumbler faciliteter. Gratis adgang til spa.

Hotel Cycle ligger i det sydøstlige Hiroshima og tilbyder enkel, men elegant indkvartering med gratis WiFi overalt. JR Onomichi Station ligger blot 5 minutters gang derfra. Fantastic location, right next to the ferry that'll take you to the beginning of the Shimanami Kaido route. The entire hotel is very well adapted to cyclists - you can park your bike right next to your room, which is amazing! The breakfasts were awesome - warm food served on a hot pan will fuel you on your cycling journey. There's also the Giant store where you can rent your bike.

Miyajima Guesthouse Mikuniya is a traditional Japanese-style guesthouse located on Miyajima (Itsukushima). Room was massive for one person. Fantastic view of the pagoda (but the main tori gate was not visible). Location is located slightly uphill but still close to the main shopping street and the shrine. The room shares the bathroom and shower with everyone else, but has its own sink so it's more convenient. The shared bathrooms were clean, and there's a shared bath that people can reserve.

Hiroshima Airport Hotel ligger blot 5 minutters gang fra Hiroshima Lufthavn og tilbyder komfortable værelser med WiFi samt 2 restauranter. The lady at the reception with good command of English, and the gentleman who helped us with our luggage (also with good command of English) or extremely welcoming and helpful. They even helped us to book a cab for the next day. It was the best thing about the hotel. And the view is great, especially the garden behind the hotel.

Only a 5-minute drive from Miyajima Ferry Port with its free shuttle, beautiful ocean views can be enjoyed from Miyajima Seaside Hotel. The stuff was very kind and helpful, the place very clean and comfortable. Great view from the room and the shuttle is very comfortable.

A 3-minute stroll from Itsukushima Shrine, Miyajima Grand Hotel Arimoto boasts an outdoor hot spring bath. It offers luxurious Japanese-style and Western rooms and a free shuttle from Miyajima Pier. Very spacious rooms and super attentive staff. The location is also great, located very close to all sights, perfect to explore the island all to yourself during the sunrise or sunset. We really appreciated the free shuttle bus to and from the hotel

撚る屋 ligger i Kurashiki, 9 minutters gang fra Shinkei-en, og har en have, en restaurant og en bar samt gratis privat parkering. The property was gorgeous, so well designed with modern touches but a traditional feel. We stayed in both junior suites and the maisonette and all were beautifully designed and decorated. The maisonette was two floors so could be tough for older people. The staff was friendly and helpful and made our group feel so welcome and comfortable. The food was amazing and the chef was lovely, chatting with our group each night and kindly tweaking the menu whenever needed for the picky people in our group. I can see this ryokan becoming very quickly widely recognized for its outstanding quality, design, and service. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Yoruya and I hope to stay here again someday.

Guest house Mitaki ligger i Hiroshima, 4,1 km fra Atomic Bomb Dome. Her er hurtig ind- og udtjekning, en have, en restaurant samt gratis wi-fi overalt. Der er desuden røgfrie værelser. The staff were very friendly. I found the bed comfortable and the whole quest house was very charming. The restaurant attached to the guest house was good and convenient, and the view of the garden from there was lovely. It is two minutes away from Mitaki-dera, which I found to be an underrated beautiful place, now one of my favorite temples I have visited.
