The room was spacious and inviting, blending traditional feel and modern amenities perfectly. The traditional breakfast was delicious each morning and provided energy to fuel a day of walking. The private bath was the highlight at the end of each day.

We had a wonderful stay at this guesthouse! Everything was clean and cozy, and the atmosphere was truly relaxing. Chiyo-san was incredibly hospitable and kind—she made us feel right at home. We would definitely love to come back!

Great location in the old town so perfect for early morning walks and ducking back during the day. A western-style hotel in a building that looks traditionally Japanese from the outside, with some nice decorative touches. The room was clean and comfortable with a nice shower/bath area. The staff were helpful in checking us in early and ordering us a taxi to get back to the train station.

Carmay, the owner makes you feel welcomed the moment you checked in. He offered to pick us up from the train station. There was no need as we drove. Parking was free which was a bonus. Carmay cooked a tasty breakfast, ingredients brought in fresh from his farm. He even provided us with fresh spring water. He also gave us tips where to visit and gave us an excellent suggestion to drive the Shirawago White Road to Tayayama. Everything about this stay was IMPECCABLE with not a detail spared to ensure you have the most comfortable stay. The stay is actually the upper-level + back room behind a gorgeous cafe/restaurant within a machiya (traditional townhouse); so you get the whole accomodation to yourself! Beautiful traditional details including tatami mats, screen doors & a tranquil inner garden; paired with modern comforts — gorgeous bathroom and bed. The hoast was incredible, giving great restaurant recommendations & serving the most delicious breakfasts every morning. We loved this stay and will certainly be back.

Neon Hotel - Luxury Sleep Retreat - ligger i Kanazawa, fra Kosen-ji Temple og fra Shirahige Shrine. The Neon Hotel is absolutely amazing. Look no further, book a room here! The hotel is new, modern, quiet and very clean. The pictures do not do justice to this beautiful boutique hotel. The beds were comfortable with soft sheets and comforter, and the towels were thick and fluffy. While daily cleaning was not provided, we were given enough towels to change them every day. We were also provided with yukatas, toothbrushes, soap, shampoo and laundry detergent. The rooms are very spacious, with a great kitchen and very large bathroom and shower room. Toilet is in a separate room. Front door and apartment access codes were handy, and parking (1,000Y/night) was available in a small reserved lot across the street. We loved the area, walking distance to the train station (yummy pastries and great food options), Onomichi market, the castle, gardens and various districts. This accommodation was a highlight of our stay in Kanazawa. I would rate it higher than a 10 if I could.
