The host was even better, caring, friendly and just great all together. Would like to thank the host for all the extra effort of making our stay so amazing.

The "bed" is actually a neatly patitioned cubicle where I can stand up as if in a room. Hostel located right in the walkway up to the must-go temple, with restaurants open till late left and right. Super clean. Hostel of good design: showers, toilets, kitchen, coffee machine etc on ground floor while beds on upper levels, so very quiet for good sleep. Lots of common space to relax in. Staff helpful and informative responding with plenty eating and drinking options. Check in and out can be fully electronic, while staff in place during reasonable hours.

It was quite remote which we enjoyed after coming from the business of the city. The room was immaculately clean and spacious and was well equipped with amenities and cooking equipment. The view from the room and the huge balcony was beyond stunning. Would highly recommend staying here, and already have to many people! Would definitely stay here again and wish we had been able to stay longer.

Kagawagun House PLENO - Vacation STAY 01716v ligger i Naoshima, 6 minutters gang fra Gokuraku-ji Temple, 500 m fra Ando Museum og 7 minutters gang fra Go'o Shrine Art House Project. Masako-san and her husband were incredibly sweet, inviting, and helpful. Not only did they pick us up from the Honmura port and drive us to PLENO, they also let us use their e-bikes to visit the Benesse house museums on the first day. Then, on the our second day they let us leave our luggage at the guesthouse and drove us to the Chichu museum because it was raining. They also offered us dinner and lunch recommendations even calling to make reservations. When we got up in the morning they informed us that all of the cafes around were closed due to it being Christmas, but said we could eat anything in the guesthouse, which was stocked with food. We cooked and ate a wonderful and filling breakfast of eggs, bacon, ham, and toast with instant coffee on the side and didn't charge us anything extra. THEN, when it was all said and done, we needed to leave from Miyanoura port and they drove us all the way there to drop us off and took a Polaroid photo of us to keep as a memento. Truly couldn't have asked for a better arrangement. I cannot recommend PLENO enough. If you don't want to stay at the Benesse house, this should definitely be your choice.
