Onyado Nono Matsumoto Natural Hot Spring ligger i Matsumoto, fra Matsumoto Station og fra Matsumoto-borgen. Hotellet har oversteget vores forventninger fra start til slut. Bedst hotel vi overnattede i på hele turen. Interiør er en modern blanding af japansk ryokan med onsen. Der er gratis drikkevarer og is. Morgenmad var ligeledes over alle forventninger med et stort udvalg af western og japansk mad.

Just 250 metres from Zenko-ji Temple, Matsuya Ryokan offers simple Japanese rooms with tatami-mat floors, a green-tea maker and an attached Western bathroom. The hotel features public baths. Best location we stayed at in a 2 week holiday in Japan. The other hotels we used were all conventional ones and we wanted to stay in at least on Ryokan and chose this one. The location is perfect, really close to Zenkoji Temple which is the most historic area in Nagano, with lots of really nice shops to explore. The room was perfect and we really enjoyed the traditional Japanese breakfast

Nonna Milli ligger i Matsumoto, 2,4 km fra Japan Ukiyo-e Museum og 4,8 km fra Matsumoto Station. Her er gratis wi-fi, aircondition, gratis cykler og en have. Et meget smukt hus med klassisk og original japansk indretning. Meget venligt vært, som havde mange gode anbefalinger til steder at besøge. Virkelig fedt at der var cykler til rådighed som vi lånte.

SAUNA VILLA 然 ligger i Nagano, 15 minutters gang fra Zenkō-ji-templet og 2,4 km fra Nagano Station. Her er en have og gratis privat parkering samt gratis wi-fi overalt. Overnatningsstedet ligger ca. Immaculate. Stylish. Peaceful.

Snow Palace Nozawa ligger i Nozawaonsen, 21 km fra Ryuoo Skipark og 32 km fra Jigokudani Abepark. Her er et fælles køkken og et fælles opholdsområde samt gratis wi-fi overalt. The wooden interior is beautiful. The rooms are cute and comfortable. There’s a big public kitchen and common room. Perfect for singles, friends, or couples. And a nice short walk to a chairlift where you can buy a lift ticket and hire a locker if needed.

白馬の黒馬 DarkHorse @Hakuba ligger i Hakuba, 16 km fra Tsugaike Kogen Skisportssted, og har en have, et fælles opholdsområde og en bar samt gratis privat parkering. Great room, great service, great food, great vibe. Traveling in rural Japan isn’t easy, but Darkhorse made our trip way better than expected. Andy and his team really put their heart into this lovely place, it has the charm of Japanese countryside but run with professional care. - The room: we stayed in the two bedroom, it was spacious and clean with brand-new heater, toilet and shower. - Food: breakfast was great, western style and Japanese style were both provided. - Facilities: amazing onsen on the 1st floor, and the lobby has a fireplace, can do bar and Japanese bbq here. - Pet-friendly: Yes! Andy and Rika’s dogs are cute! - Nearby: walking distance to a wetland and rice fields, the snow scenery is stunning. It’s also close to Lake Aoki, where many people visit the lakeside cafe. - Transportation: the hotel arranged station and ski resort pick-up. Feel free to ask if you need a private ride to other parts of Nagano, their tour service is great!

ワールドカリーの館 すぱいすろーど ligger i Matsukawa, 24 km fra Japan Ukiyo-e Museum, og har en have, et fælles opholdsområde og en terrasse samt gratis privat parkering. Property was clean and comfortable. Also the host was very kind and cooperative. We did late check in which was also smooth and the food was also good. Host also offered us complimentary ride to the nearest station. Also gave us apples on our way back. Overall the stay was very comfortable.

Takumisou1 er et overnatningssted med et fælles opholdsområde og ligger i Fukushima, 41 km fra Takato Joshi Park. Denne lejlighed har gratis privat parkering, et fælles køkken og gratis wi-fi. Akiko is a wonderful host she surprised us with ice cream. The kids loved the roomy apartment and having their own room. This was a wonderful place to stay run by wonderful people. We had a kitchen to make a meal at home something we were missing.

Ties Camp Ground Nagiso har bjergudsigt, gratis wi-fi og gratis privat parkering og ligger i Nagiso, 7,3 km fra Kotoku-ji Temple. Gæsterne kan desuden slappe af i stedets have.
