K's House Nikko - Kinugawa Onsen Hostel ligger i Nikko, 18 km fra Tōbu Nikkō Station, og har et fælles opholdsområde, en terrasse og gratis privat parkering. Det var et smukt og roligt sted. Møblerne var behagelige både på værelset og i den store stue/spisestue. Køkkenet var stort og veludstyret. Onsen lå smukt med udkik til træer og bjerge. Indkøb og tog var tæt på.

Fairfield by Marriott Tochigi Nikko ligger i Nikko, 1,8 km fra Tōbu Nikkō Station og 2 km fra Nikko Station. Her er en terrasse og gratisprivat parkering. Dette hotel har 3 stjerner. Lækkert nyt hotel udenfor byen. Hvis du ankommer med toget så tag en taxi fra stationen. Taxi koster 1000 - 1300 yen. Turen op ad bakken med stor bagage havde vi gerne undgået. Meget hyggeligt spise og opholdsstue.

They speak English and take care of their guests as family. 2 wonderful private onsen. Beautiful hike along the river just behind the hotel. Just remember this is bear country so sing your way through the hike.

A traditional home situated in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood about 10 minutes away from train station. There’s a communal kitchen and living room for use as well as a private onsen that you can reserve. Hiro, the host, is very accommodating and will provide rides when needed. His English is really good and his sense of humour even better. His knowledge of the area and itinerary suggestions worked very well for us. We’d highly recommend the local izakaya 800m from his place.

It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay: clean and spacious unit, a hot spring bath and a complete set of kitchen utensils and appliances.

Guesthouse Imaichi ゲストハウス今市マチナカ ligger i Nikko, 7,7 km fra Nikko Station og 8,1 km fra Tōbu Nikkō Station. Værelserne har aircondition og et fælles badeværelse. The owner was super friendly. The place was super clean and well maintained. The beds were comfortable. Overall was a very nice place. Even some snacks are offer for free which was a nice touch :)

The Nikko Nishimachi Club a la touto is located within a short walking distance to 4 area Temples/Shrines. Our suite was spacious and comfortable. The hotel offers wonderful private spa access on each floor which can be reserved in advance (there is a nominal spa tax which is paid during checkout). Some free drinks were provided in the room fridge along with some simple snacks (chips/crisps). Bathrobes, pajamas and quality toiletries are also provided. The staff was very courteous and helpful, always using a translation app when needed to ensure a clear understanding. Local cafes and restaurants can have odd hours or closing days, so just be aware. The Indian restaurant above the nearby Lawsons was very good, as well as the crepes in the cafe next door, when open. A visit to the local tourist information center was very helpful. The hotel reimbursed our taxi fees from the train station upon arrival and welcomed us with a glass of wine or juice, which was lovely. They also provided transportation back to the train station after checkout.

Nikko Cottage Yurt ligger i Nikko, 13 minutters gang fra Nikko Station og 2,4 km fra Nikko Toshogu-helligdommen. Her er gratis wi-fi og et fladskærms-tv. Amazing host! We got picked up from the station and we even received a very nice cake from the local bakery!
