Its a real hidden gem, i would have stayed a lot longer if i knew how good it was. The service was pretty good and the communication with the owner was easy and he arranged everything we needed. I reccomend to stay here for a couple of days and enjoy the pool and the wildlife around the property

Nice homestay with nice host.. they are welcome us warmly and Helping for everything. Food are delicious Room, bathroom Clean and comfortable.we like to recommend this place to everyone

Wooden Eco Cottage ligger i Katiyawa med pooludsigt. Her er en udendørs swimmingpool, en have og en restaurant. Der er også gratis wi-fi. Amazing place in amazing location with amazing owners! I loved it from the very beginning. I usually travel with public transportation and Nadie helped me to get to their place from the main nearby town and later gave me a ride back. She also was very helpful with organizing for me a transport to main sights in the area - Arankele Forest Monastery and Ridi Viharaya (I had a scooter but it was also possible to go with a tuk tuk driver). Breakfast and dinner were made at home and they were delicious and the portions were big enough. I also had some fresh fruit juices and fruits, it was amazing! There is also a nice swimming pool with trees and bushes around. It’s so beautiful 😍 Important to note that there is almost no internet connection there, I don’t find it as a disadvantage but if you want to work online from there, that might be impossible. However, if you want to relax, go offline and enjoy the nature as me - that’s the best place to go! Thank you Nadie for taking such a great care of me! I will definitely be back! 🥰

Paddy View Garden Resort ligger i Narammala, 18 km fra Alawwa Railway Station, og har en udendørs swimmingpool, en have og en terrasse samt gratis privat parkering. What a find this was. Clean modern rooms in beautiful surroundings with a lovely pool. This is the definition of a hidden gem. You simply must eat here in the evening, the food was the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka and generous portions. We saw a wine store as we drove in ( less than 5 mins drive for those interested), when we asked about available drinks the manager offered to drive and get what we wanted. Breakfast was lovely and they even bought a fridge to our room for us to use. There are sun beds and tables and chairs in the grounds so we spent the evening sitting out watching the sun go down over the paddy fields, simply beautiful. If you are looking for somewhere fabulous to stay between Negombo and Sigiria. Look no further. You won’t find better.

Lotus cool hotel and restaurant ligger i Ibbagomuwa, 50 km fra Kandy Royal Botanic Gardens, og har en have, en terrasse og en restaurant samt gratis privat parkering. Very nice hotel! It has only 3 rooms (quite basic, but bed is comfortable to sleep), but territory is big and beautiful. Located next to a big lake, and you can take a kayak to ride. Manager Chandana is so friendly and helpful, he recommended to visit an awesome restaurant (Rasta Family Restaurant). Included breakfast is delicious and abundant. Plenty of parking space. No any sound of road, just nature. Very peaceful!

Very convenient location, calm, quiet, and peaceful. Love the fully equipped kitchen. We enjoyed many recipes. Comfortable bedding and a clean washroom with hot water and a washing machine. Easy, secure check-in and check-out at our convenience. Everything met our expectations. It's more valuable than the money we spent there.

Summer Will Resort ligger i Moragollagama, 26 km fra Galgamuwa Railway Station og 33 km fra Kekirawa Railway Station. Dette hotel har 3 stjerner. Her er en have, aircondition og gratis wi-fi. Stayed here for one night during the Tuktuk Tournament. Gorgeous and luxurious rooms in a beautiful setting at a very affordable price. Showers were hot and high pressured. Excellent and much needed after a day on the road. Bar and restaurants meals available on site. Complimentary breakfast was very good and plentiful. This was by far the best place we stayed during our travels round Sri Lanka. I wish we could have stayed longer.

This was the most amazing guesthouse! We were supposed to drive straight to Sigiriya but we had to find a stop on the way as it got dark. Thank God we did as this was one of the best finds we had in Sri Lanka!!! The family hosting us were the most kindest, friendliest and welcoming people we have met travelling ever! They served us dinner and breakfast which was the tastiest and most plentiful food we've eaten here yet! The accommodation itself is stunning and the views around property are gorgeous. They even showed us around their home where they grow their own fruit/veg that is served in their meals. Would absolutely recommend this place, especially if you are travelling from Colombo/Negombo to Sigiriya to stop over on the way for the most authentic and immersive experience on the island.
