We loved staying with the local family and visiting the cinnamon production facility. We were two families with children and the location was perfect for the visit to the national park Yala. The food was the best we had in Sri Lanka and the staff were very kind.

We were greeted by the friendliest staff, taken for a walk around the jungle (where we saw monkeys, all kinds of birds, and lizards), and then served a delicious dinner. The room is spacious, clean and comfortable with amenities like coffee, tea, powerful AC and a modern bathroom. They also arranged a wonderful safari with a guide, and helped us speak with and find our taxi driver.

Tranquil Wild ligt in Tanamalwila met uitzicht op het zwembad en heeft een restaurant, roomservice, snackbar, tuin, buitenzwembad dat het hele jaar door open is en terras. The location, quality of the rooms and bathroom. The staff were all brilliant. We really enjoyed the safari organised by the hotel, it was good value and well worth paying a little extra for the guide. Also enjoyed the boat ride on the lake next to the properly.

We came to Kataragama for 2 days of a full day safari tour. The place is simple, clean and ideal for that 2 -3 nights stay close to the Yala National Park.. There is no hot water, but the weather was so hot that we won't need that.

A very beautiful place — the room was clean, modern, and equipped with everything we needed. There was a lovely garden all around, a natural water reservoir nearby, and a wonderful restaurant. Breakfast was delicious and served in the restaurant in a charming setting. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful; he welcomed us with coffee upon arrival and showed us all the local attractions. I highly recommend this place!
