This place was so amazing. We loved every minute of our stay. The staff and Roshan were so friendly and made you feel so welcome. Roshan organised a safari to Wilpattu for us, which will be one of our special days from our trip. We even saw leopards. The buffet supper was amazing with so many beautifully prepared dishes. The aubergine was our favourite. Do not hesitate to book the place if you are in the area. It's perfect in every way.

Everything was perfekt. The rooms are nice, the people are absolutely friendly, helpful, thoughtful and top when it comes to organizing anything. Very reliable. The food is amazing as is tea and coffee. The place is so tranquil and beautiful. The place to stay!

Fantastic place to stay for so many reasons. The hotel itself feels really like a safari camp with wild animals and birds all around, there are monkeys and squirrels in the gardens. Each room is very private down a small path from the main dining room. The rooms are absolutely huge and wonderfully decorated. They have a large comfortable more-than-double bed and are well equipped with a fridge, air-conditioning and ceiling fan, hot and cold shower, tea and coffee making facilities, towels and robe. The room had huge windows overlooking the forest and its own private terrace and plunge pool perfect for cooling off after a long day. We had a sri lankan style breakfast which was delicious and we ate 2 nights at the hotel. I would highly recommend the seafood bbq, so much yummy food! The hotel is situated perfectly for safari as it is right next to the entrance to the national park so only 2 minutes in the tuktuk to get to the entrance. They packed us breakfast, lunch and snacks. Priyashantha joined us for the day and was fantastic at taking us to the best places to spot the wildlife. He brought along binoculars and books to show us the birds and animals we had seen. The jeep itself has a roof to keep cool in the heat of the day on the full day safari. I would highly recommend the friendly and caring staff, the beautiful peaceful surroundings and the very comfortable rooms.

Everything about our stay was great! The property was new and the wildlife photos in each room were taken by the owner! The couple was very sweet and knowledgeable about the area.

Amazing location, just 15min Drive to the entry of the national park and as we were coming in the evening, we had an elephant crossing just outside our hotel. Such a good start of the safari. we took 3 rooms so whole 3 floors were ours. The staff was super friendly; they helped carry our bags and show us rooms. prepared dinner in advance. Quick response to all of our questions. Next morning prepared take away boxes for breakfast and lunch for our safari day trip. We had an awesome weather. So more elephants, tons of birds, alligator I think, and..... leopard. The only reason we visited this safari was to see leopard and it was a perfect choice. Not alot of tourists and we've seen everything we wanted. On a way back, last 10 min started to rain and the hotel staff helped up with bags again and easy check out. They were always helpful and kind. I read some other reviews saying that the place is under construction - but its not relevant. Yes, they started the business maybe couple of years ago and they do develope slowly but they try and work very hard to make us tourists happy. We had a group of 5 people, parents are senior and we all loved it and would definitely recommend this place to everyone.
