The room exceeds my expectations spacious, and luxurious, and smells fresh and clean. The Pier Bar in the rooftop, its an open air with a great city and pier view. I will come back again and I highly recommend The Rangoon Hotel a place to stay in Yangon. I would like to thank all the staff for your amazing kind and warm hospitality.

I read a lot of reviews when selecting hotels on booking.com but rarely do I provide a review myself. This is absolutely the place to stay in Yangon. The hotel is one of the most beautiful and well appointed hotels I’ve ever stayed in - it rivals beautiful 5 star hotels in London or New York but at a fraction of the price. But the real stand out is the staff - they made us feel safe, secure, always friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Myanmar has significant challenges with civil unrest and yet this hotel - amid great difficulty - stays open and provides an exceptional, safe and friendly experience. So many other large international hotels have shut - it’s a testament to the staff and owners this hotel remains open and running in such a professional way. Breakfast was delicious and we also had lunch and dinner at the hotel - all three I can recommend. I also tried the spa and had a Burma massage and it was great. We loved Yangon and we loved this hotel!
