The playa mangos bar and restaurant was wonderful and just a short walk away. We ate breakfast at La Sirenita up top on their covered deck and was delicious. Loved our casita, super comfortable and we slept better than ever. Can't wait to go back. I even had to take an online/interactive 3 hour class for continuing education, and the wifi was excellent the entire time. Sat on my deck overlooking Lake Nicaragua and had a fabulous Zoom class.

The ATV was delivered to us by professional staff who took time to explain & demonstrate how to operate it. Our room was spacious, very clean, good air conditioner and great beddings. The hotel serves excellent shakes or smoothies, meals and even homemake ice cream. Their chocolate ice cream is rich & creamy! We ate out while ATV-ing the island, so we were able to compare the food quality. Seriously, Hospedaje Soma's kitchen serves even better quality meals for about the same price !The hotel compound is so beautifully landscaped and there are many birds around. Hospedaje Soma greatly enhances our Ometepe's experience!

I also loved that there was a fully functioning kitchen. loved the family vibes of this hostel!
