Felt like we were really off the beaten path in a remote part of the Netherlands even though we were only 2.5 hours from Amsterdam.

We loved the swimming pool, sauna, and steam bath. The wellness facility was very clean. Our room was nice with a very comfortable nice King bed. I slept like a baby. The breakfast was top notch with many options. I loved that there was a good combination of cold and warm foods as my american husband likes to eat eggs and bacon for breakfast while I enjoy a sandwich or croissant. We will come back to this hotel if we are in the area again.

Hotel Texel is characterized by its welcoming hospitality in combination with modern comforts. Relax in this charming hotel with a heated indoor pool and a fine dining restaurant. Loved our stay here. The staff were very friendly, the room was cute and very comfortable. The restaurant is also great, with plenty of fine dining options. And if you feel like something different, there's another restaurant 5 minutes away. We cycled along the dunes using the rental bikes. I'd recommend the electric ones if the wind is strong. They're powerful enough to ride comfortably through the insane Texel winds. We also borrowed binoculars from the front desk to check out the birds. Very nice. Would come back if we want to visit Texel again!

Close to the beach, Landgoed Hotel Tatenhove Texel features free Wi-Fi throughout and is situated in peaceful natural surroundings. De Duinen Van Texel National Park is only 400 metres away. This was allround great experience. We enjoyed the view, splendid breakfast, jacuzzi and helpful staff.

Hotel Alexander is only 200 metres from the beach in Noordwijk aan Zee. It includes free WiFi and the Alexander Beach Club with a panoramic sea-view terrace. Parkering i kælderen , trapper op til hotellet med Bagage , kunne knap nok tale engelsk i receptionen. The breakfast was very good, with two options available either egg, meat/cheese and breads or a yogurt-based option. The location was easy to find with plenty of parking outside the back gate. The restroom and shower were great.

The room and kitchen are very modern and spotlessly clean. At the back, there is a seating area with a beautifully landscaped garden. At the front, you can sit just outside the room. The accommodation is located on the owners' property in a quite street, which was not a disturbance at all, as they are both very friendly and extremely helpful. They even offered a shuttle service. The beds are excellent — we’ve rarely slept so well. On one side, it’s just a few minutes to the beach, and in the other direction, you can reach the village with its restaurants in about 10 minutes. Highly recommended.
