When staying at the bed and breakfast, guests can use private entrance. Great and quiet neighborhood and service. Ideal for a few days to relax and have long walks in beautiful nature. Close to big city for events - we were there for Davis Cup.

They waited for us the first day since we were a bit late for checkin. They offered us a bottle and for our first wedding nice and the room was really spacious and nice.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Smaakvol Slochteren, I will certainly stay here again during my next visit to Groningen! Comfortable bed, nice room, excellent breakfast and I could even sit and relax in the garden. Ellen was so attentive and helpful in giving tips and suggestions, making the stay so nice! I stayed here for four nights and during one of the days they offered me to use one of the bicycles so I could explore the area by bike and enjoy the countryside of Groningen during a nice sunny day. Also the tip regarding a local garden center was excellent. Big thanks!

Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. Really, everything! The hosts were so incredibly thoughtful and kind. The breakfast was truly amazing and our accommodations were beautiful and so very comfortable. The location itself was perfect: we were able to experience a peaceful and charming village with a historical windmill while also only being 20 minutes away from a larger city.

Great shower, comfy bed, kitchen has all mod cons too. Seperate toilet from ensuite. Big TV. Fab city apartment.

Beautiful room with all amenities in place. Very comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast. Afternoon treat was a really nice touch. Great communication.
