I felt at home and would come back for the food alone - if it wasn't for the amazing people we met - thanks again Vicki for the great few days we had the pleasure of staying with you and your family!

Amazing hosts are the biggest plus. Owner's husband is a guide, we had great day jungle walk for reasonable price. Room is clean, good food, silent location for a good sleep not far from bus station (15minutes walk ) and also to centre.

He helped us book our safari tours, arranged a scooter and booked our bus tickets back to Kathmandu. Anything we needed he made it easy. The hotel is very clean and in a great location for viewing rhinos coming out of the park. It’s also a quiet location but close enough to downtown to walk.

If you want to have a true experience of the Chitwan National Park with the best local guide who is passionate about the jungle and has a ton of knowledge about the wildlife, then this is the best place for you! Bishnu (the owner of the lodge and guide) is truly amazing! He started answering any questions I had even before I arrived at the area. His wife and his kids are truly adorable and they made me feel like being at home. I went with Bishnu in a half day jeep safari and a full day walking (and boat) safari, as well as some other activities like bird watching. Even if we were not lucky enough to see a tiger, we saw many rhinos, deers and monkeys! Bishnu knows every corner of the forest and he was explaining to us every detail and answering any questions we had. While other guides may show you only the basics without putting much effort, Bishnu is trying his best to find the best spots in the jungle so that the guests could have the greatest experience! One day of my 3 days stay, I was the only guest and Bishnu arranged extra activities especially for me so as not to get bored! Last but not least, the food was fresh and homemade, and it was the best food I had in Nepal! These 3 days full of adventure and great hospitality, was the best part of my trip in Nepal and makes me want to visit Nepal and Bishnu again in the future for sure!
