Hot water and heated blankets were a bonus. Dining area was very cosy with lots of seating and delicious food. Owner was extremely helpful throughout our stay and helped to arrange a guide for us.

There is free private parking and the property offers paid airport shuttle service. This is a fantastic hotel, and probably the best one I stayed at, during my EBC trek. They have the standard NPR 1500 rooms with no bathroom. But I highly suggest booking their $50 private bathroom rooms. Those are still so much cheaper than the motels in the US which cost over $120 a night. But these rooms have fantastic views, balcony, private bathrooms with really nice hot showers, power sockets, free WiFi, electric blankets etc. The food was the best I've eaten on that trail. Tenzin, the young owner, was in the hospitality industry before opening this place, and it shows. The Bruschetta was excellent as was the filtered coffee. Whereas you would get instant coffee at other places for NPR 250 to 450, this place gives you real coffee press coffee, with the beans sourced from local farmers. The Chicken sizzler was just excellent and around NPR 849 ($6). You would get dal Bhaat for that price at some other hotels. I loved this place so much that i stayed 2 nights on my way up to EBC and 1 night on my way down. For context, I did the EBC in 10 whole days, traveling solo, with no porters or guides. Highly recommended!

Guests at the homestay will be able to enjoy activities in and around Thyāngboche, like hiking. Excellent location, probably the best in Tengboche, as it sits high up with panoramic views. I booked a double room with private bathroom and it was more than adequate and comfy. Fantastic views from the room and the hot water was hot. The food was really good (I ate the Nepalese non veg platter with chicken curry, which was delicious for lunch. For dinner, I had their Mushroom pizza which was awesome). Wi-Fi was very slow, but that's not the lodge's fault. Luckily, I had bought the Ncell NPR 1499 package at the airport and it was fantastic. I was getting 40 Mbps speeds in this location. The package also includes free internet from 11 pm until 7 am, unlimited YouTube streaming, as well as 100 GB of data with unlimited calls. All this for $11. Highly recommend this Lodge. Not sure what some of these reviewers were expecting. Bad Wi-Fi? Not the lodge's fault. Funnily, they're staying in the cheapest rooms, costing $9 a night and are complaining. They'll then go and have 2 cups of Starbucks for the same price. Imagine getting to stay in such an awesome location, with a warm bed for $9 a night. The level of entitlement is amusing.
