They did laundry for us and ordered taxis for us twice for a reasonable price. This is a guesthouse, not a formal hotel, so if you are looking for fancy, then this is not the place for you. What you will get is a comfortable bed, a warm room, lots of hot water available for showers, and a tea station where you can help yourself. We had some great conversations with Michael and really enjoyed our stay. We felt at home there.

Sometimes we come across places that we should be grateful to have had the opportunity to visit. When we arrived we were warmly welcomed by the owners and had our lunch. We were alone in the hotel and Lucho invited us on a hike through the Sacred Valley and then light the 'fogaza' to tell us stories about the Incas and Peru. I can say that these were the best moments of our stay in the country. I would like to thank the hosts immensely for their attention during our stay. I would also like to highlight the friendliness of the staff as a whole. Thank you and I hope to see you again in my lifetime.

Spirit Of The River Lodge ligt in Cuzco met uitzicht op de bergen en heeft een restaurant, roomservice, bar, tuin, terras en speeltuin. De lodge beschikt over zowel gratis WiFi als privéparkeren. I loved everything! The place is truly beautiful and peaceful. I found it very relaxing, especially with the yoga room located right above the river. The sauna was the perfect way to end the day. The accommodation is also conveniently close to the hiking trail to the Salt Mines (Salineras) — I absolutely loved it!

KOSKO Casa Hotel is gelegen in Cuzco, op 5,2 km van treinstation Wanchaq, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren, een gedeelde lounge en een terras. Romúlo en zijn vrouw Helga zijn zéér gastvrij. We voelden on direct thuis. Hij hielp ons met het organiseren van activiteiten en transport. Het verblijf is iets uit het centrum gelegen, wat voor ons ideaal was om de drukte te vermijden. Het voordeel is dat de accommodatie zeer dicht bij het archeologische park ligt. Uitstappen buiten het centrum zijn dus zeer eenvoudig om te doen. Normaal verbleven we in verschillende accommodaties in Cusco, maar omdat het hier zo goed was, hebben we alles omgeboekt naar enkel Kosko. Op een gegeven moment ook een voedselvergiftiging opgelopen in een restaurant. De dag nadien zorgde Romúlo voor allerlei medicatie en hulp om er snel weer bovenop te komen. Kosko Casa Hotel is dus aanrader op alle vlakken!

I used the Sauna and did the weaving activity, and both were truly amazing! I was feeling a bit unwell due to the altitude and felt the sauna relieved some of my symptoms. The weaving was very special- we collected nearby plants to make the dye and was taught by the owners and one of the elders the full weaving process. Of course, the rooms and view were beautiful. I was blessed with Lama visitors in the morning which was very special! I am definitely coming back to try the other activities and spend more time.

CASA HOSPEDAJE EL LABRADOR is goed gelegen in Cuzco, en heeft een tuin, gratis WiFi en een terras. Het beste verblijf dat ik heb gehad in Cusco. Onwijs aardige en behulpzame mensen, denken met je mee. Ik was ziek na de Salkantay trek en ze waren erg lief. De kamers zijn schoon, het bed was heerlijk comfortabel. Er is een leuke binnenplaats waar je kunt zitten. Het ontbijt is prima, broodjes met zelfgemaakte jam en roerei. Aanrader!

Hostal EL VIAJERO en Ollantaytambo ligt op 18 km van Bus Station, en biedt accommodatie met een gedeelde lounge, een terras en een 24-uursreceptie. Most comfortable place I’ve ever stayed in for the price point! The bed is comfortable and the bathroom clean. The family is also lovely, when I let them know I had no warm water in the shower they fixed it immediately and were generally very helpful and kind.
