Emanuel and his family ( including their parrot Antonia) were wonderful and helpful, the bungalows are clean, the setting by the river is great with many sound effects from various birds and other animals and chicken in the morning. Emanuel's cooking was very tasty. Very enjoyable stay.

Enai is located in the forest, on the shore of the Madre de Dios River, 15 minutes from the city of Puerto Maldonado. Enai has a restaurant, outdoor pool, bar and garden. Hyggeligt og dejlige omgivelser. God transport til ture via hotellets bådebro. Skøn pool og fantastisk personale!

Kapievi Ecovillage ligger i Puerto Maldonado og har en vegetarisk restaurant. Ejendommen ligger 15 minutters kørsel fra byens centrale torv. Hotellet ligger perfekt i forhold til lufthavn og by. Hotellet er super hyggeligt. Virkelig dejlig mad og meget hjælpsom personale. Alt personale snakkede gerne engelsk, hvis det var nødvendigt. Personalet er super søde til at hjælpe med at arrangere ture også med kort varsel. Og guiden på vores time, var super dygtig og snakkede gerne engelsk. Jeg ville klart komme tilbage 🤗

Refugio Chabelita Hostel ligger i Puerto Maldonado med udsigt til en have. Her er en have, en restaurant og en bar. Der er også gratis wi-fi. The staff were very nice and very helpful. On the day of arrival in the afternoon they took us on a short tour of surroundings where they showed us local plants and the river. We event got to taste the raw cacao beans. They helped us call and order taxi because we don’t speak Spanish and Uber doesn’t work here. They have a small shop with fruits, bread, sweets and salts. Breakfast was excellent. We got avocado every day. With some rice, eggs or tamales. We also got bread and coffee or tea.

Posada Casa Bonita ligger i Puerto Maldonado og har en udendørs swimmingpool, et fælles opholdsområde og en bar. Dette feriehus har privat pool, have, grill, gratis wi-fi og gratis privat parkering. Great place to chill for a few days. All rooms are equpipped with fan and AC and private bathroom and fridge. Clean place all over. Theres a bar, a beautiful pool and the host is fantastic and very friendly. Even took us out to buy some food anf other stuff. Helped us with everything. This place wilk make you chill out. Its worth it. There is harldy anything bad we can mention.

CHOMI HOUSE TAMBOPATA ligger i Puerto Maldonado og tilbyder indkvartering med udendørs pool, gratis wi-fi, en have og en terrasse. Elmer and his family, the owners, are lovely. We really felt welcome and looked after like special guests. They own a basic but lovely log cabin with a pool on their property. We stayed there one night before doing our 3 days trip into the Amazon and it was perfect. They did provide local breakfast as part of the room fees and a lovely dinner at a reasonable price.

Quirquincho House Lodge ligger i Puerto Maldonado og har udsigt til en have, restaurant, et fælles opholdsområde, snackbar, have og terrasse. The property has two individual bungalows that are very spacious, with high ceilings, good bathroom and fly screens all around the windows. Nicolas is absolutely wonderful, very kind, very friendly and very respectful. He can organise daily tours, they were excellent. The tours were with small groups (less than 8 pax). Nicolas cooked very tasty meals. The property is located away from town, which means you have lovely nature around you, but Nicolas was very helpful in driving us to places we needed. The bungalows had a balcony, wifi and hot showers. The two dogs that live there are truly beautiful, we miss their cuddles already. Nicolas helped us find birds and a sloth nearby. There are squirrel monkeys nearby. The property is located near other resorts if you need a pool or river access. We enjoyed this property for its local community and wildlife, its excellent value for a small business. My only recommendation would be to have a tea/coffee making facilities available all day, and a large shower mat to catch excess water.

Her kindness and generosity compel me to write my ONLY Booking.com review, even though I've explored 103 countries in a decade with Booking.com! Truth be told, I'm a busy adventure traveler, and it's never been worth my time to review accommodations - until Rosa. Rosa's House is a real and warm home experience in the amazing Amazon Jungle. The wild animal sightings just on her premises rival deeper Amazon sightings: jumping monkeys, flocks of birds including macaws, gigantic tarantulas. The natural and wild splendor was so captivating and mesmerizing I'd forget to care for myself. Rosa gently reminded me to eat and lovingly shared her family's fresh meals cooked from ingredients grown on her land. I started calling Rosa "Mama," as she's a caring mother at heart! Rosa's energy attracts such wonderful characters. Her partner Elvis is equally accommodating and an intellectually creative force. His fantastical art will have you in absolute awe! Their two dogs are adorably tactile and always ready to play. Again, this is my only Booking.com review because Rosa's House is the best out of the 500+ accommodations I've stayed at!

Majacho`s House ligger i Puerto Maldonado og har en have, fælles opholdsområde, en terrasse og restaurant. The property was located inside a beautiful wild landscape. It is next to the river surrounded by beautiful tall trees. You can easily spot some exotic birds on the porch overseeing the river. At night be ready to be ready to encounter monkeys and sloths hanging around near the property!

Andean Wings Sotupa Eco Lodge ligger i Puerto Maldonado og har udsigt til en have, restaurant, en concierge-tjeneste, bar, have, udendørs pool (der er åben hele året) og terrasse. Such a beautiful property - really close to the town but far enough out that you really feel like you’re in the jungle. The staff were so kind and friendly and the included activities were awesome! I loved everything about it, even my little frog friend who joined me in the shower.
