On the day of arrival in the afternoon they took us on a short tour of surroundings where they showed us local plants and the river. We event got to taste the raw cacao beans. They helped us call and order taxi because we don’t speak Spanish and Uber doesn’t work here. They have a small shop with fruits, bread, sweets and salts. Breakfast was excellent. We got avocado every day. With some rice, eggs or tamales. We also got bread and coffee or tea.

All rooms are equpipped with fan and AC and private bathroom and fridge. Clean place all over. Theres a bar, a beautiful pool and the host is fantastic and very friendly. Even took us out to buy some food anf other stuff. Helped us with everything. This place wilk make you chill out. Its worth it. There is harldy anything bad we can mention.

We really felt welcome and looked after like special guests. They own a basic but lovely log cabin with a pool on their property. We stayed there one night before doing our 3 days trip into the Amazon and it was perfect. They did provide local breakfast as part of the room fees and a lovely dinner at a reasonable price.

A really lovely, peaceful place to stay, surrounded by the sounds of nature, with all the little whooping, scratching, hooting critters that abound. Nicholas, the host, was so helpful in sorting us out with various things, including day trips. It is quite a way from town so organise your food and drinks before you arrive, and don't be fooled by the distance on the map - the real distance is further as you bounce around swerving round potholes. Some taxis might not make the journey depending on the season. Here be dragons....

To see the prehistoric bird, Hoazin/Shanso to fly behind the house in front of you is a nice treat. Also you can see in the morning squirells, capibaras and monkeys and in the night tarantulas. I staid for 5 days and there were no mosquitos.
