Place was lovely, very modern clean rooms, everyday cleaning service, air conditioner. We’ve been welcomed with sparkling wine and left with goodbye gift. If you have a birthday, you may count on a sweet surprise. There was a mini bar, kitchen with microwave and electric plate and small fridge, also espresso maker with excellent quality of coffee, kitchen utensils allowed for some cooking. The view showed surrounding hotel and ocean in the distance. I really enjoyed the 2 min. walk to the rooftop restaurant for breakfast because the view is amazing from there. The breakfast offered wide variety of products and meals, with porridge and some things for sandwich ( cheese, ham or marmalade/nuttella, home-made yogurt). There were also couple of positions a la carte and lots of sweet options. Coffee was also of great quality. I can’t comment on most of the meals because I am vegan and none of the meals a la carte was vegan, also it was possible to eat a sandwich only with marmalade or tomato/pepper for me the rest was just cheese and ham. I saw many people including my partner enjoyed that a lot, but if you are following vegan diet it may be cheaper to skip the breakfast option and buy yourself pack of oats and fruits because coffee is in the room anyway. However, the restaurant view was outstanding and I quite enjoyed that restaurant anyway. They always had a plant based milk so at least a porridge and fresh maracuja. The roof jacuzzi looked autor louring but I didn’t used it, bathing robes are included though as well as a daily ticket to natural swimming pools. We preferred a bit more the cachalote pools that were nearby so didn’t use the it but is is a very nice option closer to the hotel. The hotel also offers spa and massage if someone wish, as well as a little cowork area if you work remotely. WiFi was also excellent. In general, it was excellent and I would totally recommend to everyone to stay there.

We really liked and enjoyed our stay. The apartment was very comfortable, featuring a stylish and modern design that made us feel right at home. Everything was spotless, and the space was fully equipped with everything we needed. The staff was welcoming and friendly. The location was perfect, with a terrace boasting stunning ocean and city views. The pool area provided a great spot to relax in the sun.

Everything was amazing. Beautiful hotel with stunning views. Facilities are world class. Service is brilliant, the staff are so helpful and friendly. Very clean and comfortable.

Great location (I think this is the best place in Port Moniz) and very kind staff. Restaurants are also excellent with quality foods and nice views.

Owner is very nice and she cooks very well! Breakfast was good and the room was clean and comfy! We had a nice ocean view!

The hotel is beautiful , perched on a cliff with amazing views of the ocean. The grounds are also gorgeous to walk through. We had a room with the best views in the house and could not get enough of it. Parking was plenty and free! Would visit again in a heart beat

Dette designhotel ligger på en istandsat traditionel bondegård, på en klippe ud mod Atlanterhavet. Location was amazing, the view was breathtaking and of course the breakfast was fantastic.

Det nyrenoverede 4-stjernede Hotel Baia Azul ligger ideelt, 4 minutters gang fra stranden i Funchal. Excellent breakfast, very comfortable bed, fantastic view from the window! The staff is responsive and kind. Especially the woman at the bar, who prepared coffee and told us about the complimentary glass of Madeira wine!
