The area is safe, very close to the main walking street, me and my elderly mom walked at night from the city center there without any issues. Would definitely stay again.

We arrived very late but the staff came out to greet us and got us parked up. They offered us a complimentary cognac and showed us to our room. The whole place was built by the owner and used a lot of natural wood as furniture. The breakfast was a traditional Romanian one (others were on offer) and was all home made. The hotelier was extremely helpful and spoke good English. If you want a corporate experience, this isn’t the hotel for you but as a genuine example of Romanian hospitality at a good price, you won’t do any better.
