Absolutely loved La Teranga. Ibou could not have been more helpful and his communication is excellent. The chef is outstanding, the room spotless and the security man always around. A wide selection of trips are available. The village is local and the people are very friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend a visit to anyone wanting an adventure in this fabulous part of Senegal.

Loved the service and breakfast offered by the very friendly and pleasant owners - including directions for onward travel! Property is very clean, perfectly kept and in a quiet neighborhood with dinner options nearby. Loved it!

This is thanks to Celine and Gilles, who created a beautiful place, gather their guests around the dinner table for warm and mind-opening conversations and inventive, delicious, fine home-cooked meals, who share incredible experiences of local life through their guided tours, while being highly responsible for the well-being of local community and nature, and, last, but not least - leaving guests, who don't speak French feeling comfortable. B & B Mariamacounda ligger i Toubakouta og har pooludsigt, restaurant, en udflugtsskranke, bar, have, udendørs pool (der er åben hele året) og terrasse. We really liked the B&B in general but were especially impressed with the excursions that were offered. David gave us a guided boat tour where we visited the small nearby island towns of Sipo and Missirah and it was one of the highlights of our trip. Jenny was also very helpful with the logistics (especially because I don't speak French!) and helping me organise our time in Senegal. El Hadj is their taxi driver and we organised pretty much our whole trip throughout Senegal with him - he was fantastic. And there are a few restaurants nearby with delicious food. The breakfast offered at the B&B was delicious. Thank you!

Beautiful environment with superb views over the river from our room. Food good and service efficient and friendly. My husbands birthday was during our stay and I arranged for a cake as a surprise. A large ice cream gateau with sparklers was presented with singing and dancing from the staff which was fabulous.
