The room was spacious and very clean, there are mosquito nets over each bed.

One of the best spots I’ve ever stayed at on an island. It’s located about 10 minutes by car from the city center (a car is a must in the island). The place was spotless, the breakfast was amazing and dinner as well. The staff were incredibly friendly and professional. The views and the peaceful atmosphere were the highlights of our stay. Quiet and secure.

This recently renovated homestay features a building dating back to 2010, which is 1.7 km from the Lagarto Beach. Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. Mr Luis was the perfect host. The grounds were beautiful. The place was clean and comfortable. The pool so refreshing and peaceful - perfect for cooling off each night. Breakfast was delicious and filling. Kitchen access was very convenient for preparing meals, along with a nice dining and living room area for relaxing, or socializing with other guests. Luis was always available to address any issues or answer any questions. We were able to keep our bags safely locked at the House while venturing over to Principe for 5 days, then return for another 3 days’ stay at Casa Luis. Luis made our trip to São Tomé seamless, pleasant and memorable.

The sunsets from the balcony of my room were extraordindary. A short walk leads to the beach and shoreline which is wonderful to explore. The staff were very helpful with my luggage transfer as well and went above and beyond expectations. I'm quite sure I will be back at Mucumbli and am looking forward to it.
