Our stay was amazing. We were warmly welcomed by the owner, despite the fact that I made a mistake in booking - he was very helpful and flexible and arranged for us 1 day earlier check-in. Staff was friendly, smiling, and providing high quality of service. When I was stung by sea urchin immediate action was taken to help me, and the next day, I was cured. Breakfast was very tasty, with fresh fruits provided to each guest and restaurant offered amazing local food. The room was clean and well equipped, e.g., coffee machine, fridge, safe, etc. Highly recommended!

It is tranquil and I felt safe as a solo traveler. The room was comfortable and clean in the middle of lush gardens. Breakfast was varied and plentiful. The lounge chairs and bar near the pool were nice. Upon arrival , the owners gave me a short private tour of the area and recommendations for activities and restaurants. They were attentive daily. I also got a very good massage at the Cucumber studio on the premises.

My stay was unforgettable: the lodge is idyllic, well looked after, and has a lovely atmosphere. The food is excellent, the cocktails are delicious, and the staff are consistently cheerful and kind. The owner is very attentive and genuinely involved in sorting out anything you might need. The pool lit up at night is magical, and the little music area completes the perfect vibe. I left feeling sad to go… and already wanting to come back.

Kai Zanzibar Hotel and Spa ligger i Nungwi, 43 km fra Kichwele Forest Reserve og 45 km fra Cheetah's Rock. We really appreciated the peaceful adults only atmosphere and the serenity of Kai. We had 2 separate visits to the spa for massages and were very happy with the treatments. In addition to breakfasts, also had some lunches and dinners at the Kai restaurant. The chef does an excellent job with many items made in house. The cookies and cakes were delicious. All the staff did their best to look after us and make things go smoothly during our stay. The rooms were very comfortable and had everything required. Cleaning team were great !

The entire staff is one of the best I have ever experienced. Even before my arrival everything was smoothly organized with the hotel. The communication was very easy, smooth and efficient ! The staff is lovely, smiling and friendly persons. The location is the best, between beach, restaurants and near to the center of nungwi. Excellent location to access the excursion from nungwi. The hotel is a 10/10 that made my stay in zanzibar exceptionnal ! I highly recommend ! For solo traveller, family or couple the Dhow Boutique is magical !
