I don't understand how this place has less than 10 stars. We were welcomed by Riccardo, who was very friendly throughout our stay. Room was simple but comfortable. Bathrooms were always clean. The pancakes in the morning were amazing, congrats to the chef! We loved this place and would stay here again!

The Retreat was a lovely comfortable and spacious property. We felt at home the minute we walked in. It was very well located with easy access to the beach, the local fish and chip shop (across the road) and a short drive to all of Albany’s many amenities. It was spotlessly clean and extremely well equipped. Nothing was missing. Everything had been thought about and provided.

Very cosy and the host was super attentive. Actively in communication on arrival time so they could set up the fireplace. Very thoughtful as it is winter. It was also very heartwarming to receive lots of goodies from the host making us feel comfortable and well just like home.
