We were very tired peregrinos, having recently stayed at a pleasant, but very squeezy and stuffy, inside room in a 2 star hotel in San Sebastian. The Zumaia Hotel had space, wide and comfortable beds, and plenty of light and access to fresh air. Huge contrast. Everything worked and was well cared for. Bar below was convenient, Eroski market almost next door. Wonderful! Breakfast excellent and quick delicious coffees. I would stay again.

Hands down the best placed we’ve stayed in San Sebastián for that price. you cannot beat it! James was super during check in. He spoke perfect English was super efficient and very kind. just what we needed after a long drive. Hotel is well designed and brand new. everything was spot on!! We were looking for a beachfront hotel between Bilbao and San Sebastián, somewhere close to the Balenciaga Museum for a weekend stay. Hiru Uhinak turned out to be a pleasant surprise – great location with easy access from the train station. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was nicely designed, with good quality furnishings and plenty of space. The food at the restaurant was excellent, and the spa area is one of the largest I’ve visited in a boutique hotel of this scale. It was just after Easter so we had a peaceful and relaxing time both at the property and in town.

Amazing stay, from the location on the mountain overlooking the valley, the big space inside, floorheating, incredible comfortable bed and pillows, very elegant, cozy interieur to the very friendly host, everything is perfect here. This is one of the appartments where we were sad that we booked for one night, we should have stayed at least a week.

Fantastic location- in the hills with views of the sunset over the sea. Really lovely hosts that were a pleasure to talk to. A 10 minute walk using lifts and escalators into the delightful Getaria town!

Great little pet friendly apartment. Quiet but close to the town and bus stop for buses to San Sebastian. Overlooked the fact that there was no A/C, and we ran into some warmer weather, but 2 fans were provided and the apartment did not get very hot. Kitchen had everything you would need. Nice to have free and easy parking.
