The gite is a very large 1 bedroom flat adjacent to the owner's house. The outdoor space is like a fairytale, fantastic garden with loads of different areas to check, including the chicken. The dogs loved the space. Very quiet. A very short drive to local supermarket, pharmacy, etc. A great base to explore Charente.

Everything! Patrick, the host and owner of the property is my new friend! He was welcoming and friendly despite my limited French! Property is ideally located in Condeon directly opposite the only bar and restaurant. On site parking. Apartment is an entire floor above Patrick's house accessed by what is quite a steep set of stairs so beware. However, it has 3 spacious bedrooms, kitchen and seating area with TV, Hob, microwave, toaster, kettle and fridge with freezer shelf so completely self contained. All spotlessly clean and tidy. Quirky floor adds to the warm and welcoming feeling. Outside seating area with access to fridge and food prep area again add to the welcoming feel. Merci Beacoup Patrick!

The cottage was spacious, light & comfortable. The garden was lovely to walk around. We could have used the pool, but didn't. There was the offer of breakfast & evening meals, but the self catering enabled is to prepare our own. Eggs were available to buy from their own hens. Outside seating was perfect for just chilling. We were also pleased that we were able to watch Netflix as we relaxed with a glass of wine. It's definitely somewhere we would come back to.☺️🩷
